As a Filipino citizen it is my right to live a life with freedom. I have the right to be able to experience life to the fullest for me to be able to experience development. Short Activity #2
I have seen some violations in my community but thankfully they occur very seldom. One violation I was aware of was when the neighbours of the owner of the lot who worked in Manila took advantage of the time that she was always absent at home for she lived in Manila. They removed the connection of her water to add their connection instead, and I think they stole what was supposed to be hers. Another was when they left their trashes in the lot owned by another owner after they celebrated a certain program. And these certain problems are of course being resolved through proper communication, understanding and agreements. The offended will go to the leader of the community and ask for help and assistance or maybe complain, and after, both sides of the situation will talk with the leader and work things out, the offender will say sorry and agree to what the offended wants, like giving her back what was supposed to be hers and find other ways to provide for themselves without causing an offense to the owner. If the problem to be solved is related to the environment, the leader encourages the people to help in cleaning and avoid doing such actions again.

As far as I can tell,  the only thing that has a resemblance to the violation of human rights in my community is during times of arguments when people tend to become quite aggressive, thus hurting other people. My community can be said to be peaceful and that's pretty much it :D.

A recent human rights violation I've encountered in our community is the molestation of one of my playmates when I was a child. The case was registered as attempted rape when brought to the police. Each individual is entitled to their own rights and duties as a Filipino citizen, and to say the least, I believe that I am entitled to my right of freedom of speech and so is everyone else.       As an unshackled being and a Filipino Citizen I personally think that it is crucial to abide to laws and restrictions that the government has enable in order to implement and administer  quietude, tranquility, and coalition in each and every subject in this democratic country, which also will succor the toil and sufferings of what our dear motherland has been enshrouding. Although abiding to the laws will contribute to the mere fact that the hardships and adversity of our country will assuage, still we should have the freedom of speech and be able to be vocal in terms of our own opinions especially if it is valid and if it's worth listening to for the betterment of our vicinities and the country as a whole. In which encompasses fighting and making some noise for change for the environment and the system. Dr. Jose Rizal: "The youth is the hope of the nation" Is indeed a fact and is justified for a lot of young people in this generation, especially gen z are already woke, aware, and sensible enough of what is generally occurring in our surroundings, yearning for the blunt system to change and also defending innocent people.

      According to article no. 1 in the basic human rights laws here in the Philippines, it gradually states that; Men and women of full age, without any limitation due to race , nationality or religion, have the right to marry and to found a family. They are entitled to equal rights as to marriage, during marriage and at its dissolution. The human rights violation I've seen, heretofore here in our close vicinities or the  community rather , is a video about an old lady dissing and mocking a person from the LGBTQ community. In which is deliberately uncivil and very-unmannered for a middle aged woman, she needs to be educated immediately especially it is offending a lot of people from the community. The middle aged woman was spitting words to the individual , that gay people are justified and are meant to go to hell, and that the place where she is standing is her territory and shouldn't be bothered by anyone from the LGBTQ community. Also she was physically harassing the victim by trying to throw a rock at the her(the victim). This is practically the main reason on why I agree so much with the Sogie Bill is a a Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Expression (SOGIE, Equality Bill, also known as the Anti-Discrimination Bill (ADB), is a bill that was proposed by the Congress of the Philippines. It has been refiled for the 18th Congress.
