The Climate of Britain

One of the most interesting for me in Britain is climate. Because of the fondness for cool climates, I was impressed with the mild weather or temperature of Britain.
The weather is mainly influenced by the warm oceanic current of the Gulf Stream. The sea, surrounding the country from all sides, does not allow the air over land to heat up or cool too much. Therefore, sudden temperature changes rarely occur, but the weather conditions change often. Four different regions represent the climate throughout the territories:

Southeast – cold winters and warm, dry summers

Southwest – soft and very wet winters and warm and humid summers

Northwest – mild winters, cool summers and frequent rain all year

Northeast – cold winters, cool summers and steady rain throughout the year

Moreover, the unpredictable weather which attracts me a lot. Everyone has heard of the changing weather in the UK. It feels like rain and fog for half a year. If you're used to the sun, then the UK can be a challenge for you in terms of climate. Of course, the weather in different parts of the country is different. For example, Wales has more sunny days and less snow than Scotland, but the weather can still change quite quickly when you live on an island. Weather can be seen as both a plus and a minus. Some won't mind the weather, but others may want to ski and sunbathe on the beach. Fortunately, the British can afford this in other countries. The weather is generally worse in Scotland and Northern Ireland and better in England and Wales.

Manners of British

I believe the British are some of the most polite people in the world. They always have rules to be more polite.

List of what is considered rude in the UK

Not saying “Please” and “Thank you”

British are known for their politeness. It is important to say “Please” and “Thank You” to anyone you will talk to pretty much anybody in the UK. Make sure to include if your vocabulary while in the UK, or else you will be deemed rude.
If you happen to recently moved here to the UK or just for a visit, using “Please” when ordering food in a restaurant or café is just an example where you need to ensure to practice saying “Please” or “Yes, Please” it won’t cost a penny if you say it to the waiting staff. So, please say it.

Not Queuing

Not queuing or jumping in a queue is a big no-no for the British people. It is deemed utterly disgraceful and rude. British people love to queue, they probably have a queue for everything or when they see a queue, they will probably join in! I would definitely join the queue as well and politely ask where is the end of the queue.
One of the perfect examples of this British etiquette was the queue for the late Queen Elizabeth’s public viewing in Westminster, London. The queue went for miles and took them almost 24 hours to get into the public viewing chamber of the Queen. That’s a great dedication of the British public to the late British monarch as well as showing the British custom of queueing.

Not Holding the Door Open

When you visit the UK, upon entering any establishment or any door it is customary to hold it open if you have someone next to you.

Not holding the door open for the next person behind you is deemed rude in the UK. British people will probably hold it open for you so you can easily push the door. It is just a polite thing to do in the UK.

Spitting in public places

For goodness’ sake, avoid spitting in public areas. Spitting in public places is frowned upon, disgusting and rude in the UK. So please never spit in public areas, you can always cover your mouth and catch it with a tissue or excuse yourself to the nearest toilet.
One of the British politenesses, I was most impressed by the queuing culture. Perhaps because Vietnam is difficult to see the image of standing in line. That's why I like that culture so much.

One of the British politenesses, I was most impressed by the queuing culture.

The British education system is unlike any other country. It houses the world's most prestigious universities that offer students a new vision of life. The UK education system is also a storehouse of multicultural communities. International students from many countries disseminate their knowledge.

The education system in the UK is divided into four main parts, primary education, secondary education, further education and higher education. Children in the UK have to legally attend primary and secondary education which runs from about 5 years old until the student is 16 years old.

Difference from other countries, the United States puts heavy emphasis on decentralization and delineation between public and private options, while most other countries have private or religious schools that can receive public funds and have nationally-mandated exams, curricula, and teacher pay scales.

Courses in the UK education system are shorter and more intensive than in many other countries, which means you'll graduate sooner without compromising on quality. While you can complete an undergraduate program in three years, you'll be able to finish a graduate program or post-graduation in the UK in just one year.

Studying in the UK can be expensive, especially for international students. However, given that the UK is a world leader in higher education, many consider the price tag worth it for the opportunities a UK degree help you access. We have compiled a list of the cheapest universities in the UK for international students. Therefor, if you want to approach the higher education, UK is the best choice for you
