I slowly started to stay up past my bed time to do homework. But I was a lot better at time management then unlike now.

How does this relate to the theme?

In 5th grade we slowly started to get more work but, I was able to use my time wisely and didn't get that much homework when school was over. I was either lazy and didn't do it because I took my time for granted or never found time to do it. So it was either late or I finished it the last minute.

If I didn't do that then I wouldn't have a lot of homework to do when I got home. This year I'm going to break that habit and start choosing my time wisely.

If I don't want to do work after school then I should start using the extra time in class to get it done.
