 In new year we always have a lot of dishes on the table. Many salads, traditional "Olivier" and " The herring under fur coat", meat, cheese, sweets, hot dishes. Many fruits are there( grapes, tangerine, oranges, bananas etc). We also hang candy on the Christmas tree. And at 12 pm we listen to the President's speech and with the chiming clock (clock in the Kremlin) adults drink champagne and childre drink juice .We congratulate each other  and wish Happy New Year.

Today is December 1, and I decided to decorate our living room! Since mom was at work, and dad was on a business trip, I decided to make them a big  surprise)))))
I put our artificial Christmas tree and decorated it with two garlands. One of gerlands glows, and the other one looks like long beads! 
My mother and I wanted to make a wreath at the door! Every year  my parents give me gifts, and I give them on this holiday.Last year I spent this holiday with my grandmother. There were only adults and my cusines! At first I was embarrassed to go to my relatives in the hall, but then I came to them, told stories from life, sang songs, made jokes and danced!  on the 25th or 26 th of December. Our family prepares for this holiday beforehand. My father buys and brings home a beautiful Christmas tree . Our family has a tradition to buy a real tree. I like to decorate it with toys, little coloured lights, sweets and a beautiful star on the top. All the members of our family clean the flat before this nice holiday and then each of us try to dress well. We like to celebrate the New Year at home with our relatives. They come to see us at 11 o'clock in the evening. At 12 o'clock we sit at the table and eat delicious food. We say, "Best wishes for the New Year!" 
We don't go to bed till morning, we watch TV, dance, eat tasty things and make jokes. 
 It is a pleasant moment to get presents on the New Year's Eve. I usually get many nice useful things from my parents and relatives. I enjoy this holiday very much.
