Welcome family and friends. We are gathered here today to witness and celebrate the marriage of Sana and (sickly) Wonwoo. This is not the beginning of a new relationship but an acknowledgement of the next chapter in their lives together.

Sana and Wonwoo have spent years getting to know each other, and we now bear witness to what their relationship has become. Today, they will affirm this bond formally and publicly (on a beach). However, this affirmation means more because it is shared with their closely chosen quarantined friends and loving family.

Sana and Wonwoo will mark their transition as a couple not only by celebrating the love between themselves, but by also celebrating the love between all of us—including the love of their parents, siblings, extended family, and best friends (all of whom couldn’t be here today due to the pandemic). Without that love, today would be far less joyous.

Sana and Wonwoo… today you not only marry the right person, you also commit to being the right partner, the one with whom the other can stand and face the world. It’s finally time to seal this chapter with questions that will lead us into the next chapter.

where do i start? well i could take us back to three years ago when we first met. when you offered to fight my wifi for me! it was then that i knew, that i fell for you. heh i'm Partially kidding. back then we were different faces huh? that was soooo long ago too! i can't believe we've come this far, three years in. despite our faces changing, i know one thing has never changed. my love for you. it hasn't been constant for the three years, no. it's only been increasing day by day, the more time i spend with you. i can't tell you how grateful i am to have rekindled this. quoting myself, i remember having an instant attraction to you but didn't know what to do with it. gradually, the feeling grew but the place died. it was much later when we found each other again fatefully. and here we are, once more in each other's arms.

 

i remember when i approached you here the first time, unsure if you had the same wishes of reigniting what once was. but instantly, there was a spark between us, one i couldn't let go of once more. yet, i had to when you left. i was lost, i didn't know what to do. i know it's silly that i let myself falter over one person, but you were The person. you were My person, and when you left you took my heart with me. again, as fate calls upon it, you came back and i knew i had to hold onto you tight, to cherish you so much with every passing day, hour, minute, and second. i didn't want to waste my time anymore, and so i confessed my obvious feelings and you accepted them. we came official with the cheesy video i made you heh.

 

that was a mere few months ago, but since i've loved you for three years now, i knew that you were going to be my forever. i didn't mind people saying we were rushing it because i know i wouldn't want anyone else to start a family and grow old with. if asked Why i love you, it's simple. people say perfection doesn't exist in a person, and i believed that up until i met you. to me, you're perfect and i hope you know that. your smile is so beautiful, it could light up my world in an instant. your laugh is so melodious, it could be a song i'd want to listen to daily. i don't know anyone who's as kind and caring as you are. it is you who brightens my day after all, like sunshine on a cloudy day, unexpected, surreal, but amazing. it is you who encourages me to be a better person like the angel that you are.

 

truly, you are my dream. the second i close my eyes, all i see is you. my thoughts drift off to just how else can i try and make you happy. it pains me to see you sad and i know that's normal, i can't expect everyone to be all happy all the time, even i have my moments. but i always wish to help you make everything better. i hope you know in me, you have a shoulder to lean on and an ear to listen to all your problems. i will forever provide comfort for you no matter the time and place.

to think this day would be here; to be standing in front of you, ready to be your wife, your forever, and to begin the start of our new chapter. our story began at a different place, yet our chapter here has been the most memorable. the happiness and love we shared here has definitely been the strongest.

to be here, standing in front of you has always been a dream. it always felt so surreal to think about, even when we were planning things out together. the fact that our dream, our future is here already makes me nervous and jittery, but i know that no matter what life throws at us, we'll be able to fight and make it out together. we're strongest together. and i know that no matter what life decides to throw at us, we'll be able to persevere. our love is strong. and i believe in us.
