         <description><![CDATA[<p>Stevenson discovered that his law school offered a month long intensive race and poverty litigation course which he was interested in since he couldn't afford another course. Once Stevenson had his internship with Henry he was so nervous and felt bad about delivering the news even though it was good, after  the long talk with Henry he felt so connected to Henry he knew he wanted to help him get out of death row.</p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>¨ Don't worry about this, Bryan just come back.¨</p><p>I picked this quote because I feel like it shows how much Bryan going to visit Henry after he had been worrying about his execution date and not seeing or talking to anybody made him feel so much better. It shows how much it meant to Henry for Bryan to tell him he wasn't getting his death penalty. Henry was avoiding bringing his family since  he was afraid of getting his education date but he was so grateful for the news he could finally see his family.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>All the judges were white which made the trial unfair</p></li><li><p>They moved him to a different county because they knew all the judges would be white</p></li><li><p>Bill Hooks claimed to see Walter at the carwash but isn't possible since he was at the fish fry</p></li><li><p>Bill claimed he knew it was Walters's car since it was modified to a low rider which wasn't true Walters's truck didn't get modified until after the murder.</p></li><li><p>Ernest Welch who collected the money at the McMillan house claimed he went on a different day because he was so devastated </p></li><li><p> The verdict was the trial only lasted 3 hours didn't really care and just claimed Walter guilty.</p></li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>Walter was charged with somdoy since Myers stated that he saw Walter at the gas station the same day as the murder.</p></li><li><p>Walter had a fish fry with his family and friends on the same day of the murder at his house.</p></li><li><p>The same day as the fish fry Walter and a mechanic were working on his car when the murder took place.</p></li><li><p>Walter got stopped by the police and told him to get out of the truck and he got arrested while the sheriff was rude and used racial slurs towards Walter threatening him.</p></li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>Charlie was a 14-year-old who lived with his mom and his boyfriend Geroge who was a cop.</p></li><li><p>Charlie walked into the kitchen where he found his mom unconscious thinking she was dead,Charlie went upstairs where he found Geroge sleeping</p></li><li><p>Charlie felt so angry towards Geroge thinking he killed his mother he grabbed the gun from the draw where George had it and shot George in the head.</p></li><li><p>Charlie heard his mom moving couldn't believe she was still alive and called 911</p></li><li><p>The congress wanted Charlie charged as an adult since Gergoge was a past cop, so they placed Charlie in a adult jail.</p></li><li><p>Stevenson went to visit Charlie to try to help him with his case,Charlie wouldn't say a word.</p></li><li><p>Stevenson put his arm around him when then suddenly Charlie started to cry sobbing in his arms trembling.</p></li><li><p>Charlie told Stevenson what the inmates did to him in jail many times raping him Charlie was traumatized</p></li><li><p>Stevenson was angry and went to tell the judge what had happened to Charlie in jail, and he agreed to move him to a protected facility.</p></li><li><p>At a church, Stvenson talked about Charlie's story and the plight of incarcerated children, when later on Mr. and Mrs. Jennings a white couple reached out to Stevenson wanting to help Charlie, and they became Charlie's family.</p></li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>The ABI agents were looking forward to working on Walters case to share more evidence to help Walter. The ABI agents were able to move Walters's case to a different court. The more people that got involved in this case the closer we got to freeing Walter. The ABI agents were able to bring justice to Walters's freedom. Once all the evidence was shown the judge had decided to letting Walter a free man. Walter gained his freedom after so much suffering and time stolen from him but after all this, the trauma will forever be with him.</p></li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>She got put in prison for having a stillborn baby </p></li><li><p>Her neighbor called the cops claiming she was pregnant and didn't have a baby with her</p></li><li><p>She got imprisoned for life </p></li><li><p>She was released after 10 years</p><p>-The Tutwailer was a horrible jail and place to be. Cops raped and sexually harassed the women at the jail. They had no privacy in the bathrooms or showers cops were allowed to watch them. Even the chapel would take place in these horrific actions. Stevenson filled a complaint against the US Department of justice they also asked them to add cameras in the dorms which they declined.</p></li></ul>]]></description>
