It was the time were battle ships become obsolete and air superiority was the key. Brutal massacres took place and little was ever done to atone for the masses of lost lives.

Some of the questions I have is why did the USA not do more to rescue the captives that were a part of the Batan Death March, such as send planes or more men to attempt a rescue? I would like to explore more on the process it took the US to decide to use the nuclear warheads and the testing it took. I would also be interested in learning more about the destruction and aftermath it had on both countries.

So, they just put sanctions, hoping Japan would calm down.
