2. Studying in groups or studying alone 
 
 In my opinion, i believe studying groups is more convenient and allows students to share their different thought with others . At the same time,study group encourage members to think creatively and build strong communication skill. There is disadvantage studying in group too. For example, while studying in groups members often lose their ways from the topic and the discussion goes to another topic. In conclusion, studying in group is a fun task. 1. Do you agree that community service is better than prison for some crimes?

Owing to the great variety of crimes, some people argue that not all criminals are the same, it is therefore appropriate to give certain people a community service instead. I agree in some cases prison may not be the solution and community service would probably have more benefits.
One justification is given to keep society safe by removing criminals from the outside world. so the first thing to consider for those who have broken the law is a danger to the people.in the case of violence, there is an argument to keep the perpetrator away from society. However, crimes such as burglary and drugs do not cause direct harm to society. Keeping this kind of criminals costs the taxpayers and may not be an effective form of punishment, and the offenders may commit the same crime once they come out of prison.

I also believe punishments should reform the offenders so that they do not repeat the same offense
Again. Another reason not to mix them up with these dangerous criminals they might get more violent. Potentially doing worse crimes once they are released. By keeping them in the community, helping others, they not only learn new skills but could also develop more empathy and care towards others. If this occurs, society can only benefit.

In conclusion, I would say putting criminals in prisons are more expensive and ineffective. those who are not dangerous to society, instead they can serve the community well. It would be useful to find out more data Wether the community service will more likely to stop the criminals from reoffending. I strongly believe that the decision should be based on the evidence and the results of how and what works.

Many students are unsure if studying in groups or studying alone is more time efficient. Some prefer the independence and silence of studying alone and some need a group to help motivate them. [introduction]

My opinion, after consideration, is more neutralized as I felt it carries my idea better on how to approach this topic. [state opinion]  Firstly, let’s talk about the benefits of studying alone. You have more control over everything such as playing soft background music to help keep focused while studying; having the freedom to study at any time that suits them. [main idea + justification] In addition, a study group is favorable because we are able to ask classmates questions about something if it doesn’t make sense. Having other students around to help can also offer a deeper understanding of the subject. [additional idea + justification]  On the contrary, if you have any questions the internet may not be able to answer all your questions.  Furthermore, as easy as it is to study with friends, it is also as easy to lose focus and get nothing done at all. [contrasting idea + justification] All things considered, both methods of studying has its pros and cons. It is the best of both worlds to use both methods to study effectively. [sum up]

From my point of view, studying alone is more preferable because there wont be any distractions which makes students focus more. Other than that, students can plan any time of the day to study which opens up to saving more time to do other important things. At the same time, it will prevent students from procrastinating because they have no one to rely on which makes them more independent. However, studying in groups brings fairly the same amount of pros in studying alone. As the saying goes, ‘team work makes the dream work’. If many students work as a team, brainstorm and share ideas together solves the question. In the same way, students also motivate each other to study. As a result, they get higher and better grades.
