Upon emailing clubs of various sports near me and in accessible areas I waited for replies with the hope of a response. 
I did not receive a reply from some clubs and ones that I did receive a response were for full time positions and even a position not related to media. 
By doing my placement at Sports Locker it allows me to focus exclusively on sports and sports media, furthermore it will also allow me to produce a range of content to showcase my abilities and produce content on sports I choose to talk about.

It was a race report for the F1 Brazilian Grand Prix. I have two more written pieces to finish and upload. One is a opinion piece about what F1 needs to do to attract younger fans and the other is suggestions for people looking to begin following the sport. 
Looking further me and a mate have spoken at the possibility of doing an F1 podcast. I decided on holding these two articles back because whilst yes it is about a sport it isn't focused around a particular event but more informing potential viewers. 
I will decide if I upload these two articles upon further reflection. However after speaking with a couple of fellow students I decided that I will be uploading them. This is part because whilst they may speak of a sporting event one article does talk about how a sport can get more fans through the doors especially younger fans.
