I would rule the world very differently than how it is operated today. It would still be a democracy, but I would make sure that necessary legislation gets passes such as right for everyone regardless of gender, sexuality, race, ethnicity, religion, disability, etc. I would prioritize the health of our world, and set in place different ways of handling situations and fix many of the problems that I see in my own neighborhood, but are also embedded in society.

A solution that I am considering for my project is to have better education on topics of sexual abuse and harassment that both men and women face and things that we could do to combat these. (Also educate men/boys how to control themselves rather than just blaming women for what happens to them) Investing in girls’ education, for example, supports economic growth; just one extra year of secondary school increases a woman’s earning power by around 20 percent, which isn’t just good for women, but also for their countries’ economies.
