There is a photo being shown below demonstrates that a lot of people that are Republicans are protesting for the "Stay at home" quarantine their "American Free Will". The reason why this is social change is because most of those people started protesting without even realizing it and joined the team automatically. But this social change is very controversial because it does not benefit everyone in the states because many people are still dying due to COVID-19 by spreading the germs around. For example on the textbook (Pg 528) it mentions "many people may be involved without most having any direct interaction with others", this is how people get easily involved with anything in their surroundings.

I chose this article because over time a lot of news channel will mention helpful procedures to prevent getting any viruses and especially COVID-19. They’ll mention a lot of products such as hand sanitizers, face masks, Lysol, and bleach. It makes people think that they cannot live without those products and hopefully to help them at any cause since mostly everyone in the states are scared. For example, in the textbook (Pg 527) it mentions that "Social change may bring both good and bad consequences", this is probably the best thing to do in this situation since we do not know when it is going to end.

I found this meme to be remarkable because so many of us use social media and sometimes we do not realize how bad it'll affect us when we try to solve a real life situation that is targeting you. Majority of the people that argue a lot through social media become weak on the inside, mainly spiritually weak. People like Youtuber's have high income but will feel isolated at times. For example, in the textbook (Pg 539) it explains that "it is marked by weak kinship and impersonal neighborhoods, leaving individuals to feel socially isolated, this is what weakens people's "outside" personality when they meet the real world.

The reason that I chose this quote was because it caught my attention in a way, most people that live in a capitalist environment accepts situations from their leader without any questions. In a way some things are organized and not much people are having freedom but they do respect their leader. For example in the textbook it analyzing that "A capitalist economy pursues ever-greater profits, both production and consumption steadily increase (Pg 541). Capitalists will focus more on their healthcare but will take poverty with no questions asked.

Being in this modern world is best to be the black sheep because people will start to lay eyes on you. In this academic article (From the SWC database) by Daniel
D’Addario explains how celebrities rebuild their life going through some harsh situations in their past. Everything that they have done was not pleasant, that is why every fan of theirs follows their lead in fame. For example in the textbook it says that "Most people in modern societies have the privacy and freedom to express their individuality" (Pg 542), these type of people express their freedom that nobody else has done.

This photo relates to the era we are in, now a days many people want to take things into their own hands and will not bother to look at anyone else's point of view. There is always going to be that one person that wants to be right on every decision that he makes or says. We battle with that every time and we see that everywhere that we go like the news channel, school, politics, and especially in social media. For example in the textbook (Pg 546) it says "the twentieth century was unsuccessful in solving social problems such as poverty", Sometimes it is better to take a breath and look at everything in a different angle.

One of my personal favorite geniuses, this is one step closer for being in the advance future, and Elon Musk is doing everything that he can to achieve that with underground tunnels. For example, in the textbook it analyzing that "technological change, especially the industrial Rev. enhanced human productivity and raised living standards in many nations" (Pg 546),Transportation like buses, trains, and airplanes had impacted society very big and made traveling very affordable and easy. This idea of the underground tunnel with electric cars will stop reduced car crashes in the streets and deaths that have been caused by it. This first helps the society that has the money to afford a Tesla, then later on more people will be willing to use underground tunnels.
