The industry is male-dominated, so if you are sending someone there you should send a male. They are very old-fashioned and women tend to work at home.          <description><![CDATA[<pre>1.  Majority of the religious people in France are Christian and basic Christian holidays are observed in the country. There are many people who are non-religious as well so be neutral if the topic comes up in conversations. 
2. It is rude to arrive on time for a party and can be considered inconsiderate to the hosts who are preparing the dinner so be aware if a business partner invites you to a party. 
3. Socialization between people of different positions is restricted and emphasis on hierarchy is strong. Business and private lives are separate for the French people so it is rare that you would get invited to a home dinner. </pre>]]></description>

There is a blend between hierarchy and individualism, which can make leading people a bit complicated.<br><strong>3.</strong>&nbsp;The French really like their families/houses and they're seen as intimate.</div>]]></description>

This means that France would be a good place to do business with and be successful in when doing business.&nbsp;<br><br>The French are also very well educated. This is good to know and important because it is yet another reason to trade with France and shows that business is more likely to flow well.&nbsp;<br><br>They have a lot of holidays in France which is important to know because you cannot conduct business on these days.          <description><![CDATA[<div>France gets revenue mainly from agriculture. It is important to know that because it gives you a better idea of how they produce major industries.<br><br>It isn't common to visit homes in France unless they are family. In France a family will usually have a more rural house and a main house in a more urban environment. These are important to know because otherwise you might think it rude to not be invited to one's home.<br><br>There are&nbsp;many holidays in France which are days dedicated for no business. It is important to know when not to do business or contact business partners as much. Also business deals during the 4 week summer break are frowned upon.</div>]]></description>
