         <title>Week 7:Task 6b: Written report &amp; Task 7: Present your final production with feedback</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>•<strong><em>Know: </em></strong>this week i know that it's good to get feedback from your classmates or anyone in general as they're able to see things you could improve on that wouldn't haven't even notice from your eye because my point of view is biased then theirs. it feels much more rewarding doing this by yourself then working with others and from feedback i know what i need to do in order for me to be a better media student.<strong><em><br></em></strong><br></div><div>•<strong><em>Do: </em></strong>I applied techniques such as the camera angles that I had taken inspiration from when watching other school sketches. To get a positive mood throughout my video I had the setting behind me usually bright. I edited the music in at the end of the video to enhance the positivity as well. I wanted to do it a few more times throughout the video to not give off too much tension. in my presentation i talked about the reason i did a sketch for my FMP, the things that occurred, my strengths and weaknesses and also presented the video. i then asked for feedback from my iPad then put it onto my showbie. <br><strong><em><br></em></strong>•<strong><em>Show: </em></strong>I’m going to be showing my work through padlet and showbie. On showbie I linked my padlet wall so that the teachers can view it.<br><br></div><div>•<strong><em>Improve:</em></strong>throughout this task it made me realise that i need to improve on most things. the first thing that stood out for me was my planning. if i had emailed the teacher before hand then it would've made things less complicated as i wouldn't have to wait till last to get equipment and also getting a room wouldn't be an issue. the second would be to improve on my camera angles as i wasn't able to fit my whole body wasn't in the shot so this also led to it being out of focus the majority of the time.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Week 6 Task 5: Pre–Production &amp; Production </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>.•<strong><em>Know: </em></strong>This week I learnt that working on my own takes twice as long then if you was with a partner because setting up the camera and the tripod and getting the camera angle consumes a lot of time. there was a scene that made me realise this when i needed to throw sticks at myself but it would be to easy to notice so ended getting someone to throw them at me from behind the camera. i also know that your gonna have to at least take more than one shot as it you may not of&nbsp; turn out in the way you wanted it. the next time I do something like a sketch again i will have to make a script so that it's faster to know my idea and also give my actor time to change anything that doesn't fit right with scene. i know that scheduling things can also cause less confusion between me and other groups and make it less stressful for the teacher that is trying to give you time for you to film.<br><strong><em><br></em></strong>•<strong><em>Do: </em></strong>this week i filmed most of my scenes that involved a tripod and DSLR camera. i done these shots in two separate rooms and whenever the room wasn't set out like i wanted to, so i had to adjust everything. unfortunately i couldn't find any sticks at the town as i was hoping to buy some there. however i went to the Harlow college cafe and found the coffee sticks and a cup that happened to be free so i guess that was better than expected&nbsp;as i put 10p to a £1 in my prop sheet. a prop that i took inspiration from and ending up using in my video was the t-shirt on the head as i already had a lot of them so putting one on as a wig would make it look obvious that i'm doing a sketch instead of a hair wig.<br><br></div><div>•<strong><em>Show:</em></strong> i have not put my work on anything so far as i'm still getting a few more clips and then after that i have to edit it and then post onto Showbie or YouTube so until then i cannot show it.<br><br></div><div>•<strong><em>Improve: </em></strong>this week i need to improve on my communication when trying to give my ideas out when making the video as one of the people that were helping couldn't fully understand what my idea is which took up a lot of time. i need to be more organised as not scheduling gave me a long delay.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Week 5: Task 5: Pre–Production</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>•<strong><em>Know:</em></strong> this week I now know how much work I can do if had just focused for a while instead of focusing in short breaks as I was able to finish my pre production earlier then my friends which is unlikely. Throughout my previous pre productions I would take quite a long to complete my role but now I have more responsibilities in this unit I have realised how lazy I was during the pre production. Another thing that helped was that I was more willing to take on any criticism for this task then ever before as I wanted to make sure that when I look back at something I made independently that I’ll be proud about it. Doing it faster also gave me enough time to do work from previous weeks that a may to improve on and I think that if I keep this up I think I’ll be well on my way to do level 3 media. <br><br></div><div>•<strong><em>Do: </em></strong>this week I managed to complete my my preproduction however at the start I was bit confused on where to start off as it was my first time doing it independently. The most difficult part for me though during this week would have doomg the storyboard as I had to put out my ideas onto a piece of paper and then think If I was capable of achieving this my practical lessons. After I finished my pre production I had to go back to task 4 and include some details about the target audience, shot/techniques, styles and I also needed to get some image so of them being used in sketches.<br><br></div><div>•<strong><em>Show: </em></strong>I’m going to be showing my work through padlet and showbie. On showbie I linked my padlet wall so that the teachers can view it.<br><br></div><div>•<strong><em>Improve:</em></strong> the improvements I need to make for the next time we have a pre production would be my planning skills as I find it hard for me to plan when I’m not 100% sure on what I should do yet and also planning the date and time for when I would be using a room or even borrowing equipment. I will plan ahead next time as I think I would struggle less with the more time I have and it’ll also benefit me when it comes to editing because I’m not that fast compared to the average person in the class.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Week 4:Task 4: Deconstruct 4 Products</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>•<strong><em>Know: </em></strong>for this week I had to think of things that could relate to people who’ve been through the most annoying things during secondary school and maybe even in college. An easier way to remind myself of what happened during secondary school was to watch YouTube videos on their own experience as I didn’t wanted to make sure that I wasn’t the only one going through those certain experiences. YouTube videos also helped me think of the camera angles I should use to help benefit the comedic affects and that I shouldn’t go overboard with editing as it can get a bit annoying. I also went on a trip to Harry Potter world where we went to enjoy our self’s for once but it also helped me think of new and creative ways to make my video and knowing that they made a book into one of the best selling movies blows my mind because they took something that many people thought was average and turned it into this magical/fantasy world.<br><br></div><div>•<strong><em>Do: </em></strong>this week I did 4 deconstructions that would influence my reason to put them in my video sketch. The first time I did the deconstruction I was kind of confused because I had no help. Unfortunately the work that I did was deleted by somebody and I was frustrated. However this gave me time to think if I was doing this task correctly so I went to the assignment brief and luckily enough I was doing it wrong. This made me think that thing should are suppose to happen for a reason or else I would’ve certainly failed this task.<br><br></div><div>•<strong><em>Show: </em></strong>I presented my work on a word document and I’ve also included some images to show what’s I’m talking about.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>•<strong><em>Improve: </em></strong>the one thing I feel like I should improve on was the amount of products I was deconstructing as I felt like four wasn't enough for my sketch in comparison to the YouTube videos I watched. Another reason for this was because I don’t think the time limit could reach 5 minuets as that Is what I’m expecting after doing my proposal.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Week 3: Task 3: Key Types of Research</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>•<strong><em>Know: </em></strong>what i learnt from this week was two key things that were primary research and secondary research. primary&nbsp; research is any type of research that you collected yourself. these would include surveys, interviews, observations, and ethnographic research.&nbsp; secondary research Secondary research involves gathering existing data that has already been produced.<br><br></div><div>•<strong><em>Do:&nbsp; </em></strong>what we did this week was re-create a video called the blacklist. to do this we first had to prepare for how we was going to do this video. at first we made time stamps for every time the shot had changed. after  we had figured this part out and had the lines to the script we had started making the video. we had then filmed this with a DSLR camera and a tripod and replicated the shots. after we had gathered are clips togethor we went onto premiere pro and edited this in a group of 2. a barrier that i hadn't overcome during this task was not finding enough space <br><br></div><div>•<strong><em>Show:</em></strong> how i showed this video was through are showbie final major project( FMP) on dave workshop as it happened to be dave's lessson on that particular day<strong><em>.<br></em></strong><br></div><div>•<strong><em>Improve: </em></strong>this week i feel that i could've made some improvements mentally when creating the video of the blacklist as i feel like i was unmotivated when doing so. the reason for this was because in the process of making the video i happened to be very slow when arranging the equipment and when it came to editing the video as well. to prevent this sort of thing from happening again i think i need to remember why i chose this course as that constantly motivates me and makes me realise that i need to impriove in everthing if i ever want to get distinction or even merit on this course. to add more tension/ climax we needed to add more shots between the impportant parts of the video. this can also make the video longer. this is the type of technique i would be adding into my video sketch. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Week 2: Task 2: Mind Map &amp; Proposal</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>•Know:<strong><em>&nbsp; </em></strong>for this week I started thinking of my idea my idea for my skit so far would have to be where a guy goes to school and he gets called to come to the head teacher’s office where all of his friends are. The reason they are there was because the events that happened yesterday. The head teacher talks the students one by one each one has something bad to say. Some of these scenes will be a bit overdramatic as I think it will get the point across a whole lot easier for the viewer. These things that happened may occur once in your life so I thought it was something we all secondary/college students that we could relate to.<br><br>do: what i did for this week was do most of my proposal and finished my mind map. the reason i didn't finsish my proposal completly was because i was kind of stuck on how to explain what my video is going to be like and didn't want to put my idea down immediatley just in case i happened to not like it and therefor change the idea of the video. however i finished my mind map farely quickly as i was able to get help from friends who had already done it, therefor he made me think of what i want to do and got directly to the point. the barrier for me when doing proposal was that i constantly compared mine to others which is what i should not do as we are all doing completley different things for are FMP but i'm proud that i was able to be a lot more independent during this task week as previous units i've relied on other people in the group task to think of the idea themselves and then i would just make them produce it  but now i have been more responible in my work i need think that this will be my best unit on my first year of media.<br><br>show: I've showed my work on showbie and put it onto my task 2 proposal and mind map pitch,<br><br>improve: what i thought i should have to improve on this&nbsp; week was being more descriptive as i didn't hit the ammount of words i was suppose to have hit on my proposal and also i should've focused more on my rationale then on my project concept as it seemed to have nearly more than double the ammount of words than estimated and the rationale had just a bit more than half the expected. i need to be 100% confident in my idea and know that i can produce as i keep making slight alterations in as the days go by<strong><em><br></em></strong><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>Week 1 :Task 1: Annotated Mood Boards</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>•<strong><em>Know:</em></strong> this week i realised that i never had barriers when it came to doing my work it just never thought of why i am doing this which put me at disadvantage when doing my work until we had an assembly with a guy called Mr Beezy. the things he said made me think of what life would be like in the future and that was my 'why'. why i was doing this? the first thing that came to my head was that Media is the most passionate thing to me, so i need to be the best i can be to outshine the others and hopefully i can support my family who support me even though they find me to be annoying most of the time and even know i might not like my family sometimes i have to remember that i'm still privileged to even have a family to begin with that cares about me. so i think that this will be keeping me motivated from now on at my time at Harlow college.<br><br></div><div>•<strong><em>Do: </em></strong><em> </em>alright so this week we did are first mood board which we included pictures from the internet that had also been annotated so you know why its there and why it could possibly help us in are FMP. when doing my first mood board i realised that this helped when coming to a conclusion of what i wanted to do and i want to do these  more frequently in the future then what I've done this year. how i started my mood board was to choose something that interests me the most was doing doing a sketch as that was the most amusing to me. when i was trying to look for something funny my first thought was vine as they always made me laugh. after that i then looked for something that was mature for the older audience which is why i chose YouTube channel that's called SNL. for the last mood board i chose school problems as that's something we've all been through in college.<br><br></div><div>•<strong><em>Show:</em></strong> i showed my work through showbie multiple times throughout to show my progress on this task. <strong><em><br></em></strong><br></div><div>•<strong><em>Improve:  </em></strong>what i could improve for my mood board next time would definitely add more images of things i would like to use for the future. as it gives me a better idea of what i want create. for my images i think i should've wrote a little bit more as when i compared to the people that got distinctions they had more sentences but the reason i didn't was mainly because it felt like i was starting to repeat myself quite often.</div>]]></description>
