I believe that it is so important to have netiquette, especially in a professional setting. Technology is on the rise and everyone is on the internet on social media or writing emails. Therefore, you want to present yourself in an appropriate manner. Not only this but also simply because you want to respect others. This is why we should teach students about proper netiquette. I think a persons netiquette shows a lot about themselves as a person in general which is why I pay close attention to those things. For these reasons we should teach students its importance.
Dominique Ferrante

I think digital law is almost like common sense. I personally believe that it's very obvious when someone is breaking digital law because most people know right from wrong and they know what they are doing. However, kids may not know or understand that what they might be doing is wrong. For that reason I do think that this topic should be brought up in the classroom to inform students of the consequences and to teach them their responsibility on the internet. Knowing what is ethical and unethical is so important at their age. As a teacher, I need to help my students make the right decisions.
Dominique Ferrante
