He talked about how when you move it’s expected that you make 3 times the amount of what you pay in rent. He said that if you find roommates or just rent a room you won't have to deal with this as an issue but this prospective showed me that living on your own before you even buy a place takes time and… MONEY. He also spoke about how making sure that you have the basics before you move like a bed, nightstand, computer etc will save you money but also once you’re on your own, you'll realize the things that you don’t have because even though he thought he had what he needed and he bought used things off of craigslist it all still added up to cost him $500. So in this video, he really did a good point to break down everything and explain why moving when you are ready is the best thing and what you’ll need to move out.

She went into how to go about your budget and properly decide not only what you can afford but what's gonna make you feel comfortable and making it a priority to SAVE. She also spoke about finding an area that's safe and that you should not only visit during the day but to also drive by at night and feel how the atmosphere is because it may tell you a lot. She also spoke about being realist and sticking to a low budget of getting things that are from regular retail stores and not expecting to have all the expensive stuff that you may want because it’s not what would be in your best interest. Listening to her talk about personal experiences that things she has to do made me feel more comfortable that settling on little things will ultimately be for the best.

The first point they brought up was not to be scared. They spoke about how fear is a major fear factor but staying sane will ultimately be your best friend when moving out. Knowing that you have help and not feeling alone when you are living on your own is a major first key. The article also talked about relying on yourself more and making sure that you're still doing all of the things that you need to do to.
