      Information Agencies Come in some Different forms. The primary functions of information agencies are knowledge archiving, cultural and heritage preservation, and knowledge dissemination. Information Agencies will serve as information retrievals for educational and social interaction purposes in the same way. The following are the information agencies, Library, Museum, Archives, Art Gallery, each of the information agencies plays a different role.

     Library is a collection of books in the conventional sense. It can refer to the collection itself, the structure or chamber in which it is housed, or both. The word "library" has taken on a new meaning: "a collection of valuable materials for general use." This meaning is employed in disciplines including computer science, mathematics, statistics, electronics, and biology. Publishers can also use it to name series of linked books. Libraries are frequently used as study spaces because they provide a quiet environment. As a result, modern libraries are rapidly being reimagined as locations where people may have unlimited access to knowledge in various formats and from a variety of sources. They're expanding services outside the four walls of a building by making content available via electronic methods and enlisting librarians' help in accessing and analyzing massive quantities of data using a range of digital technologies.

     Museums gather, protect, research on, exhibit, and transmit material evidence of people and their environment for the purposes of study, education, and enjoyment under the direction of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. Museum collections paint a picture of our cultural, historical, and natural legacy as a whole, and their preservation is a long-term commitment to current and future generations. The following functions are carried out to present and support exhibitions for the public's enjoyment in the visual arts, history, culture, science, and technology. subsequent Through a broad variety of museum educational programmes and sharing of experience with local artists, academics, and specialists in the disciplines, to develop an interest in and better knowledge of the visual arts, scientific technology, and Hong Kong's history and culture. To stimulate artistic innovation and support and promote modern Hong Kong art.To support research on local heritage, history, and the visual arts; to provide and operate venues for the presentation of exhibitions, lectures, and film shows, as well as studio facilities for artistic creation; to acquire and conserve local films and related materials, as well as to provide facilities for film research and educational activities for film appreciation; to develop and preserve regional movies and associated materials, and to provide facilities for film research and educational activities for film appreciation. Museums have a variety of qualities and goals. They are carefully managed to give the best possible conditions for collection conservation and exhibition. Every year, large-scale thematic exhibitions are presented to provide diversity to the permanent exhibits and to encourage more people to visit museums.

     Archives are collections of data that document a particular activity. Letters, reports, minutes, registers, maps, photos and videos, as well as digital data and sound recordings, can all be used. Individuals, as well as formal organisations such as governments, companies, and professional organisations, can build archives. Archives can hold documents with a local emphasis or specialise in a particular subject or theme, such as politics, social movements, women's studies, and Arab and Islamic studies. Individual archives can range from a well-known public figure's collection of family letters, photos, and memorabilia to an individual's collection of family letters, photographs, and souvenirs.

     Visual art is shown in an art gallery, which might be a room or a structure. Aesthetic pleasure, cultural enrichment, and marketing are just a few of the reason’s art may be presented. While the term "gallery" is still used to refer to institutions that research, preserve, and restore art as well as show it, these additional activities distinguish the institution as an art museum. The majority of public art galleries are for the sale of artwork, but some are part of art cooperatives or non-profit groups. Art galleries, as part of the art world, play a critical role in preserving the web of ties that characterise fine art.

The primary functions of information agencies are knowledge archiving, cultural and heritage preservation, and knowledge dissemination. Information Agencies will serve as information retrievals for educational and social interaction purposes in the same way. There are four different kinds of information agencies. Information is responsible for Supporting and adhering to government policy. Next, assume leadership roles in all efforts involving the use and exploitation of information. Participate in the development and repackaging of knowledge through research, writing, translations, and other means. Moreover, to link a wide range of information databases and systems from throughout the country. Organize and perform user information needs and demand research and surveys. They are dedicated to the education of information workers and professionals, and encourage and promote the use of information services and facilities supplied by information agencies and their manipulation.

Next, we would like to express our special thanks to our lecturer of Introduction to Information Management course (IMD112), Puan Azura binti Kamarudzzaman because she helps our group and other groups a lot in completing this report about different types of information agencies such as library, archive, and art gallery. Her instruction in completing this report is very clear and we can understand it because before this in our class session, she explained step by step how we can find all information about information agencies that our group chose by browsing to the information agencies’ websites, social media and any related materials such as pamphlet, book/e-book, bulletin, and others. May Allah bless her abundantly because of her kindness to all her students.

Then, we would like to thank to our beloved family because they are very understanding and concerned about our studies. They are also help us a lot by giving their motivational support to us. Background

National Archive of the Republic of Albania is General Directorate of Archives. In Albania, National Archive of Albania is the most important institution because it is responsible to make the rules for document life management which is this document produced by any organization. After that, this national archive will preserve them. Next, this national archive was established on 8 June 1949 in Tirana, Albania. The director of this national archive is Ardit Bido. The directorate houses the papers that were held by prior of citizens to the regime and also houses the paper of the former People’s Socialist Republic of Albania under the former control of the Party of Labour of Albania. This archive also receives requests about 100 academics and students and almost 25,000 requests from the public that comes to visit it every year for research and materials. Then, this archive became a partner with the World Digital Library in 2011.

-As the most important institution in Albania, it is responsible to make the rules for document life   management which is this document produced by any organization.

- Cooperate with institution of government and non-state agencies for the archival property to get a legal administration.

- For activity of archive network of the country, General Directorate of Archives responsible to create the professional, technical, leads, controls, and organizes its execution in it. 

To collect, manage, preserve and serve records about history of the nation and Albanian State that are very important.

  For example: Public Access to Records. Individuals and institutions can use service that provided     by the archive like using a study hall and photocopying but they need to pay before using it.

- Creates a folder which is separated for every user where sheets of survey and other documents are created during storing process of the user’s work

- Take an action immediately to implement the duplication service provided by the archive like microfilming and photocopying for a fee which is requested by researchers that are urgent to get it.

Roles of Informational Professionals

Archivists in General Directorate of Archives (Albania) collect, manage, preserve and serve records about history of the nation and Albanian State that are very important for this country.

The General Directorate of Archives of Albania provided information services such as microfilming and photocopying services as duplication services for users like researchers that request for it. So, researchers need to pay before using it. Researchers also can request the number of photocopies for many times because there is no limit of it.

The General Directorate of Archives of Albania provided a facility like a study hall for researchers. There are two study halls for researchers such as in Central State and in each of the 12 regional Directories of Archives which is one additional study hall.

National Gallery of Canada was established in 1880, located in the capital city of Ottawa, Ontario. This museum is one of the largest art museum in North America by exhibition space. Governor General the Marquis of Lorne was founded the museum mutually with the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts. With the enactment of the 1913 National Gallery of Canada Act, the federal government assumed responsibility for the Gallery. The government continued its stewardship through successive Acts of Parliament, culminating in the Museums Act of July 1, 1990, which established the Gallery as a Crown Corporation and confirmed the Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography as an affiliate of the National Gallery of Canada.

In the context of the release of its strategic plan, the National Gallery of Canada has developed a new mission statement and values which will guide its work over the coming 5 years.

The Old Library of St John's College, Cambridge, connects to Third Court and was built between 1623 and 1628, partly because to the funds and efforts of two members of the College, Bishop of Exeter Valentine Carey and Lord-Keeper and Bishop of Lincoln John Williams.

The main function of a university library is to collect information or knowledge, on the one hand, and gather human beings, on the other. Libraries are traditionally organized by functional departments, cataloging, acquisitions, periodicals, and so on.

FUNCTIONS AND ACTIVITIES

To this end, management provides a framework for library staff to assign tasks established through planning and experience to staff working in different library departments, so that library staff can work happily, efficiently and effectively. 4,444 library activities have been classified and divided into manageable jobs and assigned to employees through established salary classifications and job descriptions. Organization chart divides the various responsibilities for each service area as follows, and outlines clear authority and communication for each position. 

 

1.     Circulation services. The staff assigned to circulation services provide customers with efficient services by loading and unloading materials, assisting customers in handling library card accounts, coordinating the external and cross-professional circulation of library materials, and returning library materials to the bookshelves. This department is usually the first contact with library customers, and the staff is usually responsible for explaining many of our policies and procedures. 

 

2.     Technical services. The staff assigned to this department will be responsible for ordering and processing library materials and maintaining records for library materials collection. This will include directing and coordinating all functions related to the procurement and processing of library materials for the system. 

 

 

3.     Digital services. Staff in this department will manage the library’s digital services, including the main library’s computer center, technical courses, and the library’s social media and network presence. The staff evaluates, recommends and implements new technologies, and maintains the library's computer equipment (hardware and software), network and operating system. 

 

4.     Maintenance service. The maintenance department staff will provide systematic interlibrary delivery services and the maintenance, security, maintenance and cleaning of the library facilities. 

 

5.     Security. This department staff will ensure the safety of patrons and library staff and will stay in contact with the Shaker Heights Police Department. 

 

6.     Administrative services. Administrative staff, especially the principal, treasurer, director of human resources, and associate directors, provide leadership to employees in promoting, interpreting, and supporting library policies and procedures. Such leadership includes planning, directing, and coordinating library services and staff in accordance with the policies of the library's board of directors and the library's mission, values, and vision. Other functions of the department include personnel management and library financial accounting and record keeping. The Public Relations Manager coordinates communications with the public, the media, and the Friends of the Shaker Library, and oversees the marketing of the library's collections, projects, and services.

The special library collections are located in the old library and can be consulted in the rare book reading room. 

 Some of the more interesting items and discoveries from our special collection appear in the special collection spotlight, which is regularly updated by library staff. 

 Information on manuscripts in the special collection includes descriptions of our medieval and post-medieval materials, as well as oriental manuscripts and papyrus fragments.

The librarian of the St. John old library of Cambridge responsibilities is mainly to provide academic staff, researchers, and students with the information they need, and to support the skills needed for effective research. This includes training staff and students in information literacy, bibliography, literature search and copyright law. 

Physics Study Space 

 There are currently a limited number of desks that can be booked in advance for personal study in the library on weekdays. Only those who have booked a meeting in advance can enter the library building. A face shield must be worn at all times (unless exempted), and the windows will remain open to ensure adequate ventilation. A desk with or without a computer (PC) is available, please choose when booking. The demand for desk space is high, so if you no longer need it, please cancel your reservation in Moodle or send us an email. 

Printing 

provides self-printing services in the Fisher Building lobby from 8 am to 8 pm, 7 days a week. Please do not come to the library just for printing. 

 For people in self-isolation or isolation, where printing is essential for academic purposes, library staff can print materials on your behalf and send hard copies to your university dormitory. The standard printing fee will be added to your college bill. Any necessary print requests should be emailed to library@joh.cam.ac.uk. In your email state the purpose of printing, the number of copies needed and the date you need to print, we will do our best to help you. 

Borrowing and Returning 

Cambridge residents who wish to borrow items should use our "click and collect" service. First check if these items are available by searching iDiscover. Then email your loan request to library@joh.cam.ac.uk. Include the title and class tag of the article in the email. Requests will only be processed in the morning on weekdays, so be sure to allow plenty of time when submitting your request (for example, if you need items for weekend use, you must apply by noon on Friday). Items will be collected and left on the Forecourt Lodge table for you to pick up. When the item is ready for pickup, you will receive an email notification. Items must be returned to the safe at Forecourt Lodge. 

 Print Resource Scanning 

For those unable to use the "click and collect" service, the University Library is running a specialized "scan and deliver" service on its extensive collections. 

 Or, for articles stored in St John's, university library staff can provide digital scans of some books/magazines (as long as the request complies with the copyright rules, that is, each book does not exceed one chapter, comes from magazine distribution, or a maximum of 5% personal use). First, verify that the article is available by searching iDiscover. Then email your request to library@joh.cam.ac.uk. Please include book/magazine title, class mark or volume, version number, chapter/article title and page number in your email.

 is different from other systems or services in that users are humans, so it is difficult to classify them. Users can group according to the types of activities they perform in the library. In university libraries, users are students, researchers, faculty, and staff.

The rare book reading room has a desk for 10 readers and contains catalogs and bibliography. The room offers wireless connection and readers can bring their own laptops. Librarians can decide whether to allow photography or not.

Information agencies is an important role in our society now. They are the collectors and stewards of our heritage and knowledge needs, they are also organizers of knowledge, history and learning process. Information agencies take the knowledge of the past and present and lay it down for future used.

Information agencies developed in performance with their local and national history. Among those agencies we can find diversity and different. The well-equipped and modern library is not necessarily as the most developed in the art of stimulating popular participation and democracy. Good examples can be found at many places all around the world.

Information agencies face a real challenged in coping with the transition to the digital age. To avoid becoming too old in the future, they have to adapt, to attract new and young users and to develop new business models. This implies deep changes in the organizations, in the skills and attitude. Those agencies also have a unique role to play in disseminating knowledge about their collection.

All information agencies were set up with their own roles, objective, vision and mission background and standard of arrangement. But among those agencies they thy were bounded with the same attention in nurturing knowledge society and promotes long life learning.
