My philosophy of life is “It is not the way in which you look at a challenge makes it challenging, it’s when you attempt to do it.” This simply means that just by looking at something you can’t decide whether it’s challenging or not you have to make an attempt to complete that task.   I apply the same philosophy to Educational Technology, with the rising of technology within the 21^st century it is very important that teachers upgrade their teaching from their traditional “book to pen” classroom to a more technological classroom filled with imagination creativity and the urge to learn new things. Some teacher especially teachers of older ages might find this way of teaching difficult as they are not aware of using technological resources, but I urge them to not look at the challenge and think of it as challenging but begin using it, ,  attempt the challenge and conquer it. 

I believe technology consists of the designs and the environments that engage learners, as new and emerging technology is making vast amount of information available to teachers and students, a need for creating open learning environments in which learners can evaluate their own needs, make decisions, and modify, test and revise their knowledge is becoming more critical. I believe new and emerging technologies have given educators the opportunity to create an environment that can engage learners in active, constructivist, intentional, authentic, and cooperative learning. So if teachers develop a more technological classroom learning will become more effective and the students will become more engaged. 

In concluding I implore all teachers whether it maybe secondary or tertiary teachers not look at educational technology as a challenge but accept the challenge of teaching this course within the school and use the guidelines of this course to enhance your classroom. Remember “it is not the way in which you look at a challenge makes it challenging, it’s when you attempt to do it.”
