If you were a mapmaker, what would you create in your school that, if it were to become real, would be wonderful to have and why?

If I were a map maker then I would create a map which identifies the cities and countries where Globval Warming needs to be better managed.

Global warming, as suggested by the name, is a global issue that we are all facing. Have you and your family members found yourselves switching on the air conditioner more often than not?Has your electricity bill been increasing?This is because of global warming. Global warming causes the temperature of our sourroundings to increase causing us to feel hotter and causing us to be unable to resist the urge of switching on the air conditioner. If we switch on the air conditioner more, then it is normal for there to be a spike in our elecricity bills.

Why is global warming occuring?It is occuring because of us humans. We cut down forests. If forests are cleared, much of the carbon dioxide and other green house gases stored by trees is released back into the atmosphere. This results in an increase in atmospheric tempratures due to the gases trapping heat from the sun, which contributes to climate change.

How do we, as students, help to stop global warming? We can do simple things such as instead of asking our parents to drop us to school by car, we take the public transport, walk or cycle to school.

I feel that global warming is an important issue and I feel that we should have talks about this in school because then more people will be aware of this and hopefully, in a few years time, global warming can be managed better by our generation.

if i were a map maker i would make an obstical coruse in the school , it would be in the school filed.I would want students to learn what real fun is like , it would benifit the school by keeping us fitter and happier and PE in school would be much more fun compared to now , if we have sports day in schol , we could use it. It would also come in handy when the Cca groups need to train for compitions . After the primary 6 students take their psle , it would so fun ,we would enjoy oursleves and create lasting memories together. As a mapmaker i care about the positive it would make on the students i woukd want to make them happy.

If I were a map maker I would create a map of stations you can go to in a whale. Yes thats right, I will build a huge artificial whale and inside it there will be a lot of aquarium tanks inside . Insted of putting real sea creatures inside I will ask volunteers or even artists to help in the making of the habitat and the animals . In the the middle of the place there will be door , after opening the door there will be a room on the habitats which are polluted which are handmade. Then there will be a huge notice board which has information about all types of pollutions and most importantly water pollution . At the end, there will be a stage for talks about pollution and its impacts and ways to stop pollution.

If it becomes real, It would be wonderful as the students in Opera Estate Primary school students would know the imporatnce of always following the three R's , to not waste food and they can also see the impact if we do not protect the earth and its water and how many oraganisams it can kill. we can also invite people to do talks or dramas to deepen our understanding about water pollution. We alll know that on the earth's surface 2.5% is freshwater. If we dont conserve our water , we might not have any fresh water to drink anymore .

So how can we students do our part? We can simply practice the three R's : reduce, reuse and recylcle. By doing that you are already reducing the amount of waste that is thrown onto islands or in the ocean . We can also stop overusing our fresh water supply by doing simple acts like turning of the tap when not in use. We should always take part in world water day and take it seariously. By doing simple actions in saving the ocean you are also saving the earth from global warming. Remmember every drop counts. So let's save the oceans and the earth before its too late.

If I were a mapmaker creating a map for our school, I would make a fun virtual reality map of the school for us to explore. This map would let us wear VR headsets to see the school in 3D. They could check out classrooms, the library, the cafeteria, and other places in a cool and interactive way.

The map would give simple info about each spot in the school, like the names of rooms or areas such as classrooms, the hall, the art room, and more.

Kids could use the map to find their way around the school easily. By setting a destination, they would get clear directions to guide them to where they want to go, making it fun and easy for them to explore the school.

The VR map could include virtual tours of exciting places in the school, like the school garden, the assembly area, and the school hall. These virtual tours would let us learn more about these areas in a fun and immersive way.

Students could personalize their experience by choosing their favorite spots or creating their routes for exploration, adding a personal touch to their school adventures.

Additionally, the map could offer interactive lessons on basic concepts, school routines, and educational themes for us students, making learning more fun and engaging as they explore the virtual school environment.

Overall, a VR interactive map would provide a fun and educational way to discover, learn, and have adventures in our school, sparking curiosity and excitement in young learners.

If I were a mapmaker, I would create a food haven that, if it were to become real, would be wonderful to have. This is because as my school has a shortage of manpower in the canteen, I know the queue can be snaking long and students would have to wait for minutes before the food is served. By creating a food haven, I hope the queue would be shorter and there will be tons of foods for students to try, especially foodies!

A food haven also means that there will be cultural food, such as Chinese food, Indian food, and Western food. With different types of food, the students show racial harmony. Students can appreciate the traditional food and learn more about the combination of food.

In conclusion, if I were a mapmaker that could create something that would come to life in the school, I would create a food haven.

If I were a map maker I would add a basketball team because in our school we have a basketball court but no team to use it ,other than some time using the court for PE .

It’s a shame as I can think of Meny of my friends that would love to play basketball on a school team.

And being a map maker doesn’t sound that bad all u need is to know a route to a place and write it down perfectly, ok it does sound quite meticulous well it would be quite an experience .
