Some believe that praying will cure any disorders, and that people with schizophrenia or depression are labelled as having demons in them. Perhaps we will be able to add information about religion and negative stigma due to it on the website to educate people in Ghana.

We were hoping to discuss this within our project and provide alternate coping mechanisms as well as explain the dangers of taking these drugs. 

Pros: We have a teacher at USF who has experience with mental health issues in Ghana, who is willing to help us with this aspect of our project. Some of the people using these drugs might not realize how much harm it is causing them/ that there are other ways to deal with the issues they are experiencing.

Cons: The individuals who take these drugs might think that we are talking down on them, reprimanding them for using the drugs.
