As historians, children will look at key people who have made a significant impact in history. They will learn about Samuel Pepys and his diary. Understanding his impact on History and our knowledge of the Great Fire. We will also learn about Guy Fawkes and King James I. The roles they played in the Gunpowder Plot and why it was important in History.

As artists, children will continue to explore colour. The children will study the work of the artist Ron Embleton. They will practice and explore creating pictures with backgrounds and foregrounds. They will use different mediums such as watercolour, pastel and tissue paper to create a Great Fire of London Art piece.
