Diabetes type 1 is a chronic disease where diabetic cells that make insulin in the pancreas are destroyed This prevents the body from producing insulin. Therefore, if no insulin is being produced than glucose can not be processed as well, leading to high elevated blood sugar levels and may even cause short or long-term problems. Patients with type 1 diabetes can experience the following symptoms.

Frequent urination

excessive thirst

excessive hunger

fatigue

blurry vision

mood changes

weight loss

In diabetes type 2, due to the lack of insulin, sugar or glucose builds up in the bloodstreams. Since there isn't enough insulin being produced, the sugar can't move into the cells used for energy. Instead the body begins to rely on alternative energy sources in the tissue, muscle, and organs. Patients with type 2 diabetes can experience symptoms such as:

Constant hunger

weak energy

fatigue

weight loss

excessive thirst

frequent urination

dry mouth

itchy skin

blurry vision
