During that time the ecomony was is bad shape, unemployment was at 14% and times were tough for immagrints.

 My grandmother was born in 1956 in Lubbock,TX. At the age of one my grandma and her family relocated in Pomona,CA. In that time The Alabama Bus segreation laws decleared legal by the U.S surpeme court and the black & white portable tv hit stores while that was happening the civil rights was going on.
