However, for future trust CPD, all staff and their roles add responsibilities should be considered. This would help to ensure that each session felt purposefully to ALL. Unfortunately, many of the session were heavily aimed at teachers and due to this as TA I lacked a sense of belong.

I loved the theme of belonging; in particular the thinking around creating a space where people feel confident to ask sometimes silly questions to develop new lines of thinking. Although possibly I would have liked to see the belonging theme represented in the workshops, all three of my workshop choices were great (hinge point questions, mathematical fluency and reasoning, and the importance of oracy and the use of manipulatives). As well as developing my understanding of the concepts discussed, the workshops empowered me to try out practical ideas in my classroom tomorrow. I thoroughly enjoyed engaging in some maths problem-solving tasks. Maths is fun! Thank you for a great day!

Tree of Life - useful and will be using this to support children going forward with my team of TAs

Children’s Voice in Safeguarding - really useful with lots of ideas to how to move this forward in our academy

Trauma Informed session - not new learning but excellent re-cap of theory and also ideas of how to support our children with ACES

Lunchtime - having an hour for lunch was lovely too. To catch up and share ideas and thoughts on the day so far. Thank you’d or providing drinks and lovely food. So thank you. 🤩

And ending at 2.30pm - thank you. Was really thoughtful well-being. So a huge thank you for this. Much appreciated.😊
