She was the second woman to work at the US bureau of fisheries, writing radio scripts about sea creatures. When sage wasn’t working, she was doing her own personal writings about the wildlife. Her writing allowed her to reach people all over the world, with her first book ‘Under The Sea Wind.’ Which was nothing in popularity compared to her next book ‘The Sea Around Us.’ She won a national Book award and quit her job to write ‘The Edge Of The Sea.’ In the 1950s the pesticide DDT for almost everything. She was born in 1799 in a  small English seaside town named Lyme Regis her family was very poor but the way they found out how to get money is selling fossils to rich tourists. Her father had died when she was 11 and after he died she took over the business and she got a dog named tray too when she looked for fossils tray would come with he until he died in a landslide because the cliffs were steep and the ocean caused riptides and landslides that is very common when you live at a place like she lived. When she was around 12she discovered the firs ever complete ichthyosaur skeleton she also went out to discover 2 skeletons of the previously unknown species called plesiosaur the fossils were unlike any animal known to humans, proving that extinction can occur at any point in time she also went to a school that she was not excepted into she would always bey “torn out” her name would never be said even though she did all of the work her name would get replaced with another name . She had many little  struggles in life, but that’s what made her such an amazing mathematician. She was teased about her weight and appearance, but that never stopped her. She would sit the back of classes to try and learn, while getting no academic credit. She did this for over two years, until they finally admitted her as a student. At the university of Erlangen, she lectured for her fathers classroom, unofficially, with no pay.
