2. When the students first come, we will have an opening by asking them ‘how may I be useful to you as you construct your career?’
By asking this question we can understand what are the students’ needs, so in the following counselling section we can be easily to achieve the purpose.

After that we can ask them some basic information, like what are they studying and what they are interested in, so as to further understand them and give them a more accurate helping. Furthermore, to ask them what makes them consider those occupations.

3. By adopting the Holland’s theory:
Step 1: to know the three letters Holland code; skills, hope, work/ culture value.
Step 2: occupation awareness;
To choose the occupation that suit their occupation type, then to eliminate the ones that do not eligible for them. After that, to help them arrange the priority.
Step 3: to find out the skills and requirements for the first priority occupation.
Step 4: continue the same step for the rest of the options.

4. To see whether the interests and abilities of the students suit what they are seeking for, if not we should recommend them to learn more different skills and knowledge. In order to let them equip the skills they need to achieve their target. Moreover, in the way of learning they can also learn about what they really want and what are their real interest.

2. I would like to ask what brings you into career counselling today to let the client state the purpose and then ask the reason why she choose cosmetician and which course should she take to fulfill the requirement of cosmetician and ask her about the short-term goal, mid-term goal and long term goal to cosmetician.

3. First, I would like to start with simple life topics and have a basic understanding of the client. The primary purpose of the conversation is to build counselling and trusting relationships with the client. That allow the client to determine his or her willingness to receive counseling, to explore their own needs, and to set counseling goals with the help of the counselor.

Then I will ask her which subjects are you interested in or considering? Or Which industries are you interested in or considering a career in?. The aims is to start with the client favorite subjects and then explore related subjects and industries.

Then I will ask 6 CCI (Career Construction Interview) questions in Mark Savickas' Life Design Counselling to help the client explore personal expectations, find out the characteristics that he has or hope to have in the past from the people he admires, and "strengthen" the benefits that these characteristics bring to him, so as to help the mentee construct a self-concept. Also, This helps to assist the client to discover the work environment and occupation type that are of more interest to the mentee, and to establish a link between self-concept and occupational interest and ask mentees to think about their current situation and desired vision, and how they relate to the storyline. Besides, It is to let the client explore their inner resources and understand the biggest motivation and problem-solving methods for themselves in the face of difficulties. Moreover, It is to let the mentee review how the past growth process has affected the current self, so as to explore the mentee's core beliefs, values and ideas.

4. She should discuss with people who work as cosmetician and listen to the sharing of people who work as cosmetician. Also, she should search and refer to information about cosmetician to think carefully the practical feasibility of each option. In the next meeting, she should review with the counselor together how to adjust the plan and practice strategy, so as to promote the client to further explore her career path.

Do the test to find out what personality types she are.
Ask 6CCI
Then I can find out her real strengths and interest and help her set up a plan to fulfill her self-actualization/dream/appropriate job/life

4. Her job should be in line with her real interest and ability.

2. I would first ask him, "what can I help you today?" to know his goal of today's consultation. Then, I would ask, "do you remember what factors made you have the decision to become those occupations at different ages?" and "what factors make you not considered to be an archaeologist now?". Therefore, we can know the reason he made the thoughts and see the personality behind his ideas. We would have a better guide for him later on.

3. We can use the Linda Gottfredson's theory of circumscription and compromise to apply in the case in order to narrow the client's career options.
Step 1: we can ask the client about his/her interests and abilities to know his/her strengths which can match to some specific occupations.
Step 2: we can ask the client whether he/she is satisfied with the occupational options he/she has chosen.
Step 3: To ask the client whether the abilities and characteristics of him/her can fulfill the requirements of the occupation.
Step 4: Get to know more about the factors lead to the client rejects the choice of being an archeologist.
Lastly, we can eliminate the occupational choices and find the suitable career options together.

4. According to the case, we can see that the client have different kinds of interest on different career. The client cannot choose what he/ she would like to do. It may because he/ she does not know the personality of himself/ herself and the skills of the job. Therefore, we recommend him/her to search more information and required skills of those jobs such as the expected DSE marks and do some test to know more about himself or herself such as test for Holland Career Interest Inventory.

Moreover, it is necessary to build confidence to the clients in order to get her trust, by effective verbal an non-verbal communication skills

3. First, I will conduct John Holland's test to find out clients' personality. After that, the 6CCI questions will be asked to explore client's personal expectations.

4.
