By theory, Hot air rises UP in the atmosphere, leaving the cooler air DOWN. This is because cool air is denser than hot air.
In countries such as Malaysia whereby the weather is constantly warm and hot, it is ideal to design the building in a way to prevent hot air circulating around the building.
On the other hand, in cooler countries, typical having winters, it is ideal to avoid too much cool air entering the building.

For electricity, there is a main wall socket for the induction unit. This is relatively eco friendly as we arent using a conventional gas unit. As for the lights, There r 3 lighting bulbs on the ceiling that can be controlled from the outside dining table wall.
For water, Pipes under the double sink are hidden under a shelve that my mum used it to put her equipment. Therefore, it is actually visible with the naked eye and is not covered.
