Las actividades que la escuela nos ofreció fueron una oportunidad para comunicar con la gente de allí sobre muchos temas diferentes (desde las corridas de toros hasta el marisco en el mercado) y pienso que sea muy útil en la vida aprender a relacionarse con muchas personas.
Creo que fui muy afortunada, de hecho, mi familia era muy amable y me  hice sentir como si estuviera en mi casa: podía hablar de todo con ellos y podía ser como soy sin tener vergüenza. 
Aunque el tiempo no fue demasiado bueno, disfruté mucho de la cuidad. Lo que me gustó más fue la parte vieja con edificios y casas muy antiguas.
Para concluir, volvería ahora mismo a Santiago porque es una ciudad llena de historia y la gente es muy alegre. Ya habìa ido en el verano a Dublín y también a Edimburgo dos semanas para estudiar Inglés, pero siempre habìa estado en una escuela y nunca en una familia. Creo que esto me ayudó mucho, porque siempre tenìa que hablar en Español y en poco tiempo se transformó en una cuestión de rutina. Además, creo que mi amiga Lara y yo tuvimos la suerte de encontrar a una familia tan amable que nos trató como habrían tratado sus hijas. Las actividades que hicimos me gustaron mucho, poque a menado tuvimos que entrar en contacto con la gente de Santiago para hacer preguntas y descubrimos muchas curiosidades sobre la ciudad. Lo que más me encantó de este viaje es que conocí a muchas personas muy facilmente aunque hablamos idiomas diferentes y tenemos hábitos diferentes. The flight went really well and I luckily didn't feel that anxious, which may have been because I was with my classmates.
Our new mum Dori came and took us to our house and Santiago already seems to be full of things to do and places to visit.

Su nombre es derivado de los numerosos naufragios y trajedies que ocurrieron en este área. De hecho, las difíciles condiciones del mar y las formas escarpadas y rocosas de la costa dificultaron los viajes de los merineros. No es difícil ver a lo largo de las costas las cruces dedicades a los perdidos en el mar. Por desgracia, no es una zona muy limpia y su fauna se ha deteriorado en los últimos años.
