The long fingers allow them to forage in tiny crevices, searching for tasty snacks. Their claws help them dig for food and capture small prey.

2. Their long hands also allow them to easily swing from tree to tree, giving them the perfect mode of locomotion for their arboreal habitat.

3. The tail of the golden lion tamarin is also especially long, sometimes even longer than their body. The long tail allows them to have balance in the tree tops when swinging from branch to branch.

4. Although we usually think of bigger as being better, the small size of the golden lion tamarin is actually quite helpful. At night the golden lion tamarin can sleep in holes in trees, hiding itself from potential predators, like large cats and snakes, in the rainforest.

If humans had longer fingers, yeah it would probably look funny, but imagine being able to retrieve small things from crevices our normal sized fingers may not quite be able to reach!

2. Even we don't swing from trees with our hands, we do plenty with our hands. If humans had longer hands, we could do so much more and imagine being able to hold much more at once!

3. Even though humans do not swing from trees, if we had lengthy tails, there are many more uses from it that we could benefit from. For example, if you're anything like me, I have horrible balance. If I had a tail, I feel like my balance would be so much better. Also, I know I would not be the only one, but I would use my tail as a fan in the sizzling summers.

4. If humans were smaller, we could get into places we could never have gotten into before. How fun would that be!
