This is a great way to help students make connections among ideas and record the progress of their thoughts, although this is only one of several possible formats available on Padlet. Once you post something, put your mouse on top of the post and a little ellipses icon will appear. Click on it, and it gives you the option to connect the post to any other. You can also disconnect posts as needed.

Create a class Padlet and add prompts/ questions for students to view at home. Students can respond on the Padlet for homework,  but will also know what information/answers to prepare for the next class session.
