His friends try cheering him up by bringing him to a party and saying he'll find someone else because his ex wasn't that pretty in general. The party is hosted by the Montegues', the Capulets' rival family and stuff. so there's obviously gonna be some problems right off the bat. His friends try to cheer him up but because he's a depressed lil bean he basically ignores them. Then he cries up a storm while rolled up in a ball on the floor of friar laurences' place, then laurence has to slap him around/roast him a bit to get him to snap out of it, but he's still kinda sad afterward.
