I went to McDonald's Tesco Alma DT with my close friend who also worked there. When I arrived, I was greeted with smile by the Guest Experience Leader (GEL), Kak Mira who introduced me to the other crews there. Then I was assigned on my first station which is Fries. I was trained by Crew Leader (CL), Aliah on this station. First, she showed me the Freezer, Chiller, and Dry Store. Then I was trained on how to fry Fries from the dispenser fridge, into the fryer, and how to pack fries with three different size container. On this day too, I was briefed by the Restaurant General Manager (RGM), Abang Hafiz regarding "Team A Team B system" where I (in Team A) will be working for three days for twelve hours a day, and leave for three days which will be replaced by Team B alternately. I didn't met Kak Yus, my Industry Supervisor because she is in Team B. On Grill station, I was taught on how to grill patties and fried egg. The said patties such as "4:1 Patties" for Quarter Pounder Burger, "10:1 Patties" for Cheese/DoubleCheese Burger, "Grilled Chicken Thigh" for GCB and Fried Egg for Nasi Lemak McD. The timer for each one is 40 seconds for 10:1, 140 seconds for 4:1. 160s for GCB, and 135 seconds for Fried Egg. Specifically, for 4:1 and to 10:1, I need to seasoned the patties using Grilled Seasoning before lifting them into the slot. Initiator toasts and sauces the buns, Assembler puts condiments on (pickles, onions, lettuce etc) and then the Chaser put the patty on and wrap the burger and slide it to the Heated Landing Zone (HLZ). Since this is my first time, I still messed up the correct patty and I'm still slow to wrap the burger. I became a Chaser, fry products, and cook Nasi Lemak McD. It was a good exposure for me because I had the chance to work on different environment with different teams.

The event was held annually and I'm glad I was able to experience it during my quarter year of internship. There were many things that we did there such as lucky draw, Kahoot!, speech by RGM and OC, service awards and many more.
