facility's

What do we have?

At SDC we have 3 rugby pitches neatly set out, 3g 4g courts, netball courts and basketball courts, 2-3 football pitches.

as you can see there is a lot of opportunity's to get stuck into any sport. we also have a gym.

there are issues with weather, becuase all of our facility's are outside this means that when it's windy/rain/snow/hail. we are out either on the 3-4g pitches or on the field's with no cover. some people complain about the pitches being to far to walk to, they are all the way down the other end of the fields. there is also a problem with the ground, when it rains alot the fields become flooded or very wet which makes it hard to stop or not slip.

i would suggest that we built a sports hall, if the weather is bad we have somewhere to decap and do sports indoors, this would help the community massively, they would be able to carry on developing skills .

i'd say we could have a cleaner and better gym, with the sports hall built we could have more space for more people to do what they need to instead of having set times for everyone.

if we had the sports hall there would be more people willing to play sports inside, this put's them in there comfort zone and it's accessible for everyone.
