I love the idea of brain breaks being musically linked, especially if you use a video that is somewhat tied to the content you're learning about. Music can also be a good tool for regulation and de-stressing students, as I have seen students be calmed down by music before. Finally, I love the way music can be tied to transitioning to educational material. Students can begin transitioning into a different education mindset by simply listening to a new song and I love it.

Incorporating music into the classroom can significantly enhance students' cognitive, physical, and emotional well-being. Playing lo-fi music during independent work time creates a calming atmosphere that helps students focus and reduces stress. To address physical and emotional needs, short dance breaks provide a fun way to release energy, improve mood, and re-energize students, keeping them motivated and attentive. Additionally, using songs in videos or as part of the lesson can make learning more engaging and enjoyable, while also serving as a powerful mnemonic device to help students remember important information. By integrating these musical techniques, educators can create a dynamic and supportive learning environment that nurtures overall student well-being.
