Clarence

Favourite Verse:
"I'm the definition of "wreck" if you look into my soul
Comes out the most when I feel I'm in a vulnerable place
Made a lot of mistakes, I wish I knew how to erase
When I'm afraid, might get distant and I push you away
But no matter the case, I'ma do whatever it takes"
https://genius.com/Nf-time-edit-lyrics

Explanation:
The artist (Nate) expresses how he is going through a tough time and how he is in an unstable mental state. He recognises his mistakes and errors, and tries to correct them. I find this very meaningful because he admits that he has his difficulties and hardships, and that he will "do whatever it takes" to make the experience better for himself and the people around him. It resonates with me because it highlights how no one is perfect and everyone has their own struggles, and it is how one deals with them that truly reveals their character.

Had a piggybank
Like a lion's head
Knocked it off the shelf
Broke down by the bed

From what i found, the song is about how the writer puts on a brave confident mask on outside but when he's alone he feels distant and alone from everyone. this song appeals to me because when i listen to this song it reminds me of friends who did this previously.
