EXAMPLE POST - I tried out their summer medical school program! I realized that I enjoy reading more about the theory and research, and that talking with patients in practice drives me nuts! I also took the BART by myself for the first time, and learned that I am not the type who can stare out the window for 40 minutes - this is how I learned that I enjoy podcasts, something that I've never really tried before.

It was pretty fun, the class was kind of misleading. I thought it would be a beginner class but when I went there most of the students there already had their own businesses or were planning on starting one soon, so I kind of felt lost, but other than that, I had fun with my friends. I also got 20 dollars a day to buy food.

I went to Georgetown for architecture,

it was really nice, and people were really nice except for the snobby rich people in the school.

Our architecture project was to make the 11th Smithsonian Museum based on the museums we visited, I visited the Native Indian Musem in DC

The food sucked, I ate chicken nuggets and fries every dinner, and I remember being really tired coming back to my dorm since it was so warm outside and humid we also walked around campus a ton.

I did an in person two-week engineering design lab at Tufts University in Medford, Boston. It was not hard nor difficult and the course was very lenient. It was super duper fun, and the mentors/instructors were GREAT. You get to do and make many projects throughout the two weeks. You also get a surface level touch on some skills you incorporate in engineering. I WOULD recommend it was #awesome. Tufts is tuff guys.

I took an online program called stanford precollege institute about the nature of evil. It was pretty fun because we got to listen to each others opinions instead of the professor just listing off facts and experiments. We got to share our ideas and the professor added on to our ideas. I also got a feel how college professors were like. Overall I think it was a pretty solid program.

My time at Harvard was AMAZING! Met a lot of good and smart people. The food nearby was also sooo good! I definitely recommend Oggis Gourmet and Boston Burger Company, Monday-Friday from 4:20-5pm there’s a deal for a burger for $4.20.

Rania T. - I did a UC Berkeley program in Nursing which was fun for the most part because we got to do some hands-on activities like IVs, CPR, and sutures. I think it was great to learn and get some practice on these skills, however, I didn’t really enjoy the lectures because it was hard to focus and it wasn’t very engaging but for the most part I enjoyed getting to know new people especially international ones. They had a great system for us to practice budgeting through credit cards that have $20 everyday and if you don’t use all of it, it will roll over to the next day so that was fun. We also got to go to Stanford University and tour it which was good because we got to know about both UC Berkeley and Stanford.

Haoyu - Honestly I rate my experience a 8/10. I went to SCI ART UCLA summer program. Classes are very big, did not get to do lab research, but did get to do online research on lectures. We had lectures from 9-12 and 1 to 4. I got to connect with one of the professors that worked on a sound projection project. I got to create a final project with my group members creating a nano technological air purifier for the public.
