         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Cohesion</strong>: <em>The force of attraction between water molecules. </em><br><strong>Adhesion</strong>:<em> The force of attraction between water molecules and other substances. When the hydrogen bonds in water allow for the water molecules to be held to another substance.<br></em><strong>Capillarity:  </strong><em>Movement of water up to the capillary tube. The tendency of a liquid in a capillary tube or absorbent material to rise or fall as a result of surface tension. <br></em><strong>Surface Tension:</strong><em> The ability of water to support small objects and insects.<br></em><strong>Polarity</strong><em>: </em> P<em>olarity is a separation of electric charge leading to a molecule or its </em><strong><em>chemical</em></strong><em> groups having an electric dipole moment, with a negatively charged end and a positively charged end.<br></em><strong>Hydrogen Bonding:</strong><em> A primarily electrostatic force of attraction between a hydrogen atom which is covalently bound to a more electronegative atom or group, The slight negative charge in oxygen is attracted to the slight positive charge on hydrogen on another water molecule nearby.<br><br></em><br></div><div><em><br></em><br></div>]]></description>
