3. We learn that there were several girls dancing and performing some sort of ritual, the girls are Betty, Abigail William, Tituba and some other girls. The connection Abigail has with Proctor is she use to be a slave for the Proctor family, later on she has an affair with John Proctor

9 a. Mr parris is the first Minister ever to demand the deed to the house. He is also the third minister in seven years. He believe that there is a faction in the church against him. He also believe that a minister is not so lightly crossed and contradicted. 

b. He was the eldest son of the richest man in the village. He had fought the Indians at Narragansett, and was deeply interested in parish affairs.  He regarded himself as the intellectual superior of most of the people around him. 

c. Rebecca is 72 years old. Rebecca enjoyed the high opinion most people had for Francis Nurse. The nurse clan had been in the faction that prevented Bayley's taking office. 5. There were disagreements about the demand of ownership over the government's house and the high authority by Rev. Parris. On the other hand, Rev. Parris does not feel satisfied about his pay. There were also disagreements between Putnam and Proctor about the ownership of land.

10. I would describe the atmosphere to be quite chaotic.
