We can only hope to continue honoring him by living up to his hopes for all of us.

He was with a supplier, and when I came up, he said "This is Pam de Jong -- she's one of our top agents."

Now, I knew that wasn't true.....and I presume Robbi did, too.

But the supplier didn't. We exchanged niceities, and I went back to my seat, humbled, and determined to grow into the role he'd generously cast me in.

I felt, in that moment, that I could be a top agent, and I think of that target -- and Robbi -- quite often.

Robbi had that rare gift of making everyone feel seen and valued. Whether you were a seasoned travel Advisor or just starting out, he made you feel like you belonged. His passion for travel was only matched by his love for people, and he brought those two things together in the most beautiful way.

We’ll miss his guidance, his laughter, and the steady light he brought into every meeting, every trip, every conversation. But most of all, we’ll miss the warmth of his spirit — the kind that made you feel better just by being near him.

Robbi, thank you for being the leader, the listener, and the light we all needed. Your legacy will live on in every journey we take and every memory we make. We are better because of you.

Bella Vita Travel

We were at CoNexion in Universal Studio Florida 2019 and it was the night that we had access to Harry Potter World. I was a solo rider and I climbed into the front row of the “Flight of the Hippogriff” rollercoaster and Robbi walked over and asked if he could join me. Of course I said yes! We then proceeded to stay in our seat and ride the ride FOUR more times in a row! No else was waiting in line for our seats, so we just stayed and went over and over again!

What a fun memory and I can clearly remember looking over at Robbi after each ride and him smiling back at me saying… “One More Time?”

You will be so missed Robbi!

Sending love, prayers, and comfort to Warren and Robbi's entire extended family as they grieve.

Your colorful suits lit up every stage, but it was your pride in the team you built and the community you nurtured that truly stood out.

You showed us that fierce leadership and joyful presence absolutely belong together.

You carried your roots with deep pride — wearing your hat with the Palestinian flag, repping Uruguay’s soccer team when you traveled, and always reminding us to stay true to who we are.

And your snarky sense of humor? It was unmatched. You made us laugh, you made us think, and you made us feel seen.

Thank you for challenging us to grow, and for bringing boldness into every space.

Your presence is unforgettable, and your legacy lives on in the team you shaped and in all of us lucky enough to know you.

After the ceremony & showcase, Robbi came running to me out of breath... “Ria, look! I got to meet Matteo Bocelli!” He enthusiastically showed me his selfies. Seeing him beaming with such delight was very humbling, for both of us. Robbi gets to participate in so much, yet here... He was starstruck— And I was struck by his joy. This was a genuine moment that I will never forget.

My favorite memory? Watching him get surprised with an award. You could feel the passion he poured into his work—it was refreshing, real, and something I’ll always look up to. I don't think there was a dry eye in the room. You’ll be so missed 🤍

It’s hard to put into words what Robbi meant to all of us. He wasn’t just a friend—he was an inspiration, a true leader, and the kind of person who made every room brighter with his sharp wit and infectious humor. He had a way of bringing people together, making them laugh, and reminding us all not to take life too seriously.

Robbi’s love for travel was something I always admired. He had this adventurous spirit, always eager to explore new places, try new things, and soak in every moment along the way. I’ll forever cherish the stories, the laughter, and the lessons he shared from his journeys—both on the road and through life itself.

Cancer may have taken him from us far too soon—but it will never take away the memories, the laughs, or the love he left behind. I will miss him deeply—but I’m grateful to have known him.

Here’s to Robbi: for the laughs, the leadership, and the legacy of friendship he leaves in all of us.

After that trip, I sent him a small gift: a watch engraved with “The Time Is Now.” We had talked about how important it is to seize the moment and not wait for the “right time” to live our lives. That sentiment is something I’ll carry with me forever, and I hope others do too. May we all live with the urgency and joy Robbi did.

One of the things I admired most about him was that he never filtered himself, he spoke his mind without hesitation, and it made people listen. Conferences can sometimes feel repetitive, but when Robbi took the mic, the room paid attention. He had a gift for saying what others wouldn’t and for saying it in a way that made everyone laugh, reflect, and think.

Robbi was a force, brilliant, bold, and deeply kind. I’ll miss his presence, his wisdom, and the spark he brought into every room. But more than anything, I’ll always be grateful for the belief he had in me.

May we honor him by living boldly and remembering that the time is now.

I wish you could see how deeply you are loved - I don’t think you ever truly realized just how much you meant to so many of us.

I hope you’re hearing my bad (and sometimes inappropriate) jokes from wherever you are - and laughing the way only you could.

Since December 2020 & Robbi's diagnosis with cancer, he defied the odds by continuing to make great impacts in his work and travel to events all over the world.

Unfortunately, we also shared this cancer connection. My thoughts were always since "Robbi can do this, so can I!" He always had time to help me through my journey! I'll miss your larger-than-life & colourful personality.

I'm heartbroken & my thoughts are with his family during this difficult time of loss & grief.

I will never forget two things he said to us, one of them was to never let the silly things take away the joy of life, and the other one, when being asked when something was going to be done company-wise, he replied: 'when Robbi says so'; he never lost his sense of humor!

I would have told you how much I always appreciated your support.

I would have told you how I always admired your knowledge base and intelligence.

I would have told you how often you made me laugh, even times it wasn’t appropriate 😳

I would have told you that I admired your no nonsense style when it came to business….tell me like it is, that works for me.

And I would have told you that I admired how you seemed to face your cancer head on and how sorry I am that you had to.

We were not best friends, but you had an impact on my life, I’m sorry you left so soon and I will miss you. May you be relaxing at the best spa in the next world! ❤️
