Hillary Clinton, who is running to for 2016 president, has spied on government. She illegally used wiretapping to listen to conversation to get herself a political gain. But, Hillary is unwilling to get our country the tools we need to catch potential terrorists. The text also says "How she can think it is wrong to allow our intelligence professionals to prevent and disrupt terrorist attacks through intercepted conversations between plotters, but not think it is wrong to spy on her political opponents is beyond me." This shows another way that there's hypocrisy in Hillary's life.

The hypocrisy in Chains is similar to the hypocrisy in history because in Chains, Isabel and Ruth are promised that they will be freed and not a slave. But, they are then sold to be a slave again. The hypocrisy with Hillary is Hillary thinks that it is okay to wire a government phone call, but she thinks it's wrong to use our professionals to prevent terrorists. They're similar because they are both doing something wrong, putting Isabel and Ruth back in slavery is wrong, not stopping terrorists and wiring a phone call are all wrong.

Evidence from Chains

This evidence shows the hypocrisy in Chains. My evidence from Chains is on page 9, it says "Where do you think we should go?' 'What do you mean, child?' 'I know I'll find work, but I can't figure out where to sleep, me and Ruth, I thought you might know a place' Paster Weeks frowned. 'I don't understand what you're saying, Isabel. You're to return with Mr. Robert here. You and your sister belong to him now." "Ruth and me are free, Pastor. Miss Finch freed us in her will." This evidence shows that Isabel and Ruth were supposed to be freed but, they didn't get to be freed. They did the exact opposite, they were sold to be a slave again.
