All lab members were friendly and actively worked together to teach skills and communicate work. The PI was very nice and helpful, making time to discuss experiments. The research was directly related to skills I was hoping to learn, especially metabolomics.

I was in a lab looking at childhood obesity and school lunch programs but now I’m working with a faculty that’s more associated with my dissertation interest. I co-wrote a grant with him and will hear back in April. We’re developing a working group in the department tied to climate change and health. Excited about that! Though it’s lots of work.- ER

I have been doing a systematic review on biologics and minimally acceptable risk for patients. Doing work with discrete choice experiments, patient preferences, and diabetic retinopathy screening and trade-off benefits. I am also about to start work focusing on John Heneryism and the social determinants of health and CVD. Overall I am very happy with my lab but exhausted.
