Then, enslaved people were put on ships that were densely packed.When they arrived to the New world, they were sold in auctions. The Americans heard about this and went to defend the hills. The British won but had high casualties. The Americans lost but they grew stronger. Battle of Saratoga- The British tried to split the colonists on the Hudson River. They successfully did it but as the British marched south, the Americans started to harass them. The Americans won and it gave them more hope to the war and French started to get involved in the war.
