         <title>Atlantic slave trade: This  began in the 15th century to the 18th.It was a triangular route  from Britain, Africa, and North America.The slaves were traded by having African dealers kidnapping families in African villages. Then, enslaved people were put on ships that were densely packed.When they arrived to the New world, they were sold in auctions. Many slaves faced hardships during the middle passage and working  on plantations.</title>

         <title>French and Indian war:This was a fight between the English, French, and Native Americans over land in the Ohio valley. The English wanted to use the land for farming and fur trapping. The french wanted the land because they already had fur trapping business there. Native Americans wanted to continue living in the land.The English eventually won the war and got land in the Ohio Valley.</title>

         <title>Causes of the American Revolution:       Stamp Act-An act that required colonists to buy stamps for many paper documents.Colonists boycott goods against this act and started to threaten tax collectors. Townsend Acts-A law that made colonists pay tax on many common items from England.The colonists saw this as an unfair tax and boycotted goods from Britain.   Quartering Act- An act that required the colonies to provide food and housing to British troops.Colonists protested by refusing to house soldiers and form the Committees of Correspondence.</title>

         <title>Declaration of Independence:It was a document written to declare American colonies as an independent nation, making it free from the British rule. In the declaration of independence, it states that the purpose of government is to protect the rights of citizens who agree to be governed.The document also expresses that all people have natural rights which are  life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.</title>

         <title>American Strengths/weaknesses during the Revolutionary war:         Weaknesses-American soldiers were poorly trained and poorly equipped.They lacked gunpowder, rifles, food, and clothing. It was so bad that some men had only spears and axes for weapons.         Strengths-They had good leaders that encouraged colonists to fight like Joseph Martin. The Americans were also aided by the French and received supplies from them.The american general, George Washington was an experienced military leader and had faith in the colonies.</title>

         <title>Battles of the Revolutionary war:           Battle of Bunker hill-The British were trying to control Boston by taking two hills, Bunker and Breeds. The Americans heard about this and went to defend the hills. The British won but had high casualties. The Americans lost but they grew stronger.         Battle of Saratoga- The British tried to split the colonists on the Hudson River. They successfully did it but as the British marched south, the Americans started to harass them. The Americans won and it gave them more hope to the war and French started to get involved in the war.         Battle of Yorktown-It was the last battle of the Revolutionary war.It is where the British army surrendered.This caused the Treaty of Paris which was a document that made the British give up land on the Atlantic coast.</title>
