CAS Day (Activity) Reflection

The event I decided to reflect on are the dodgeball activities . Before we started the event, I felt confident in my team and I was sure that we would win but in the end it’s only a game and it’s all about having fun. When the event was over, I felt happy as we had won. One thing that I learnt about myself from completing this event, is that I am able to communicate with my teammates and be collaborative. I showed DIS Way during this event. I showed integrity while leaving the game when I was hit. I believe that this CAS experience has benefitted my school by encouraging people to do things the right way and to work together and be interactive and helpful.

Today, my teammates and I collaborated to make a speech about advocates. We chose a lady who made a great impact on the world by ensuring the happiness and health of children all around the world, this lady is Marian Wright Edelman.

Tuesday, 14 May, was a monumental day for the whole of Year 7. It was a day where every single student was able to showcase the amazing things they have achieved throughout the year. Personally, I viewed this day as an opportunity express myself using my board, imagining it as a blank canvas where I had full freedom of creativity. Compared to other students, you could say my board was quite plain but I will use this as a way to grow and from my mistakes with the help of other students success'.
