At the start flutes tones were kinda not amazing. The percussionists were too loud like they tried to be heard too much. I could not hear the saxophones at all. The clarinets can toungue a bit better tho, since it sounds so slurred. The trumpets could be more together, they do not sound like one trumpet at some points of the piece. The flutes squeaked once.

I like how they do not sound very loud so I believe that they were following the dynamics correctly when they were reading terms like forte and piano.

The percussion section, mostly the tambourine, did the best job on keeping track of the timing and giving the rest of the group the right beat for the rest of the instruments to follow.

The clarinets sounded good compared to everybody else. Everyone kept on time and didn't rush. The purcussion made that band sound polished.

The one playing the tambourine did a really good job keeping consistent so I would say the percussion sounded the most polished and I also like how most sections sounded like one instrument.

At the beginning of percussion they played some wrong notes and it messed up the tempo of the song

I love how the clarinets were very amazing and sounded like one clarinet. I really like how the flutes did the trill so well and how it sounded like the spotlight. I really like how the trumpets sounded really blended and nice without blasting. I really like how the percussionists stayed on beat and the bell thingies were like in the background, but you could still hear it. I really like how the flutes sounded so smooth and beautiful.

Some things that need work are the sound of the clarinets because their sound doesn't sound as "polished" as it should be. The clarinet section was a little bit off beat and out of tune at the beginning.

I think 7B could start listening to each other better because I feel like they are all just playing their own music and not listening to the surrounding instruments. To improve this they could focus on the 2 neighbors around them.

Overall the tone and the quality of the intruments blending in was not the best. The trumpets needed to open the mouth more because the sound sounds so tight.

I like the fact that they were all in time as the percussion section was keeping them all in time. Also, the dynamics were pretty good since I could hear all of them. Finally, the tonging was amazing since they tonged perfectly.

7B could practice and improve the start a bit more and the flutes could work on their air flow. Overall, there's still room for improvement for all sections.

Taking home their intruments and practicing would be the next step but in class they work on blending in with everyone that plays their intrument and then I think the band will sound 100 times better, but they did a good job overall they just have some little things to fix.

At measure 5, the flutes and clarinets were making very abrupt stops that lasted far too long. Additionally, measure 25 the clarinets were not together because some of them were rushing. It sounded like there were a hundred different clarinets playing different things. This made it sound spread out. The flutes also sounded out of tune, and the saxophones at measure 17 sounded very strange. The instruments were also not together in many different parts. The trill the flutes had at measure 72 were also not together because one of them were standing out. The trumpets at measure 65 also were not together, and were not together with the clarinets. The clarinets sounded very airy, and it was not okay. The low brass was also not with the band, and sounded like they were playing the wrong notes.

The section that had the most polished sound was percussion because the way they attacked the notes sounded pretty good. This is specifically tambourine because the eighth notes were always played according to the tempo.

There next improvement should be to blend in their sound. When the tempo started to speed up they were not blending the sound with each other. Also, when the mood of the songs changes the snare was not on time and slow which made the band not be on time.

Bringing their instrument and practicing their music on their own time. Playing with a metronome would also help to keep them in time and following the dynamics.

They should work on blending into one another. What I mean by that is they sound like they were playing on their own and not as a band making the music sound awkward in places such as in the beginning and middle. Also, they were not tuned making them stick out even more because I heard someone in the low brass out of tune and sticking out making the music feel even more awkward.

7B's next steps should be to improve on matching their notes to the beat to sound better. For example, percussion was off beat when playing their solo. When the percussionist played their part, it was off beat to the tempo which sounded sort of slowed compared to the beat.

I like how the whole band wasn't too forte and the dynamics like the crescendos and staccatos were pretty good. The section that sounded the most polished was percussion because they didn't miss a beat. They also kept the entire band in time which is good because they're not really good at counting at all.

The whole class slowed down at the middle. The flutes should practice the start because it sounds kind of airy and rusty. The clarinets should work on their toungueing. The trumpets should work on counting. The percussionists should work on being more quiet and out of the spotlight.

I think that 7B should learn how to count better so they won't be off time. They can do this by counting and playing the charts like chart 7.5. They should also try to listen to eachother to blend in better. Also, they should tune their instruments using that smiley face app because they sound a bit flat or sharp I can't really tell.

The percussion helped keep the whole band on time so every instrument could listen to it when coming in or counting rests. Additionally, everyone came in at the right time.

Some of the entrances were overly aggressive and not needed because the whole band seems louder although the band is still supposed to play. Almost like disrupting the band in a way.

7B should learn how to come in without disrupting the band more. They could do this by giving more attention towards how they count and being ready to come in during practice. Additionally, they need to blend in more which can be achieved by focusing on the method book and trying to blend in with others when playing. Also in the warmups, they can focus on sticking closer in the steady air activity.
