Drought is common in areas that are hot and dry. As they are places where they do not receive enough rainfall and this creates a hindrance in the sustainability of life. 

Pollution of water

Now a day's increase in water pollution is a major cause of concern, as it is a major factor behind the scarcity of water.

some geographical areas that lack water sources such as some in land area such as some specific areas like the desert and with hotter climates. Pollution is also one of the reasons that are possible reason of water scarcity, as the water are too polluted to that it could not be accessed, or edible.
