The battle of Gonzales was a very important battle in history. On October 2, 1835, the Anglo-Americans decided that they needed change. Yet instead of charging into the feild they put a cannon on Mexico ground, which was attached to a flag saying Come And Take It (See Below). The mexacans seing there was no danger slowly advanced on the cannon ,and they had no idea of the Tejanos waiting behind the bush to ambush them. Once the Tejanos were sure they had caught the troops off gaurd they came out "Mexican blood spilled on Mexican land"

After the fall of the Alamo, James Fannin led his men into the Goliad. But once figuring out that they were out numbered they quickly gave up and were taken hostage. One week later, Santa Anna's orders for them to be executed were recieved shock and surprise was shown on the faces who were ordered to be killed. They thought it wasn't fair for they only surrendered since they thought that they would be spared. Soon, they were all lined up out in public to show the people who were thinking about rebelling that it wasn't a pleasant life for them. The Goliad massacre was a devastating day and the people whose lives were taken on that day are stilled very honored to this very day. The Goliad Massacre was very martyred and was remembered as an inspiring battle to the people.

The battle of San Jacinto was fought on April 21, 1836. The battle was fought in "present day" Harris county. It was the decisive battle (or issue settling) battle of the The Texas Revolution. General Houston disposed his men into battle at about 3:30 in the afternoon. Mexico, on the flip-side, was all quiet, with no knowledge of what was about to begin. The Texans were discreet and prepared behind trees and grass. At the command "Advance," 910 patriots moved quickly out of hiding and began firing their weapons. Their long rifles were oiled well. After 40 days in battle, the men were bearded and ragged. They were fierce looking. Thereafter, General Sam Houston revealed that only 783 Texans took part in the battle, but on the roster he listed 845 men who fought. Prevailing evidence showed that 910 men participated in the war. A particular song was played during the battle. The two cannons sent by Cincinnati, Ohio, named TWIN SISTERS were aimed and shot at the enemy barricade.
