The meaning of the metaphor, "Ashes fly back into the face of he who threw them," is that if you do bad things, bad things will happen to you. In other words, the ash represent the bad deeds of the person who committed them. Eventually the badness of your actions will come back to you, this quote is remarkably similar to the Hindu belief of karma: if you do good, good will come back to you. History has proven this proverb correct over and over again, one such example is the story of the Roman Em peror Nero. Nero has committed many wrongdoing such as bribing olympic competitors in letting him win the games, to burning a large portion of Rome and blaming the Christians for it. Soon, the people were sick of his tyranny and declared him an enemy of Rome, later he committed suicide. In Retrospect, the proverb tells of the possibility of how a bad thing can really come back to get you in the wrong time.
