The teacher introduced the lesson very well and kept the learners hooked and curious about what they are about to learn. The content that was delivered was great as required by our CAPS document, and as stated by the CAPS specific focus with regards to the topic chosen. The closure was also great because the teacher asked the learners questions to evaluate their learners and check if there are clarities that needs to be done.

Well organised lesson plan.

The rationale was good and very organised, it showed that the teacher understood what he was going to teach from step one of the lesson, up until the last step of the lesson.

The slides are visible, but I would advise Sir to use a colourful background next time. The lesson plan is fine, the only mistake that she made was writing the aims of Natural Sciences and Technology under ‘references’ she was suppose to write a bibliography on that part and not the aim.

In order to hook the learners, the teacher needs to have an exciting introduction Activity that will also evaluate the learners prior knowledge that could have worked best if she had introduced her lesson using a scenario that the learners can relate to or want them to learn more or rather curious. The lesson commenced very well. 

The rationale is great and understandable , the teacher answered it accordingly.The slides are colourful and have enough content that covers with pictures, the teachers lesson objectives.
