Even after the Civil War ended they struggled for equality and made few gains, especially while being held back by Jim Crow laws. Originally Coca Cola put cocaine in Coke, that led to more people buying it because they started getting addicted to it. I think that it is disgusting that rats used to walk over meat and rat droppings would be scattered over the mean and they would still package it and send it off. I was surprised that cough syrup companies put cocaine, opium, and morphine in their cough syrup just to make more money. They started the addictions a long time ago and they have continued onto now.</div>]]></description>
