SO!

Let's sum up how the Internet, ISPs and End users work together!

The Internet is a fast network that allows computer around the world to communicate and share a huge amount of information. And it is a series of interconnected LANs and WANs. Every computers in your house are called clients and they have their own IP addresses. These IP addresses and Routers help thousands of the clients to connect indirectly to hundreds of the internet Service Providers (ISP). ISP is a business or organisation that offers users access to the Internet. After that, the hundreds of ISPs are linked to dozens of Regional Hubs, and Regional Hubs are linked to the Cloud which is very large servers where data is stored. And these progressions are repeated.

Whenever the data travels through the Internet, computers break the information into small pieces called packets. When the information reaches its destination, packets reassemble the original order!

Internet in Future

Every one will agree that the world became comfortable as the internet is developed. In fact, crimes such as hacking and information leakage happen frequently, but anyway, Internet became the valuable part of our lives.

Through the Internet, we can communicate with people, send visual and auditory things such as picture, e-mails and music, without efforts. However why can't the computers and the Internet send olfactory and tactile things? Is this impossible forever? I feel the technologies will be more developed in the future and be able to send olfactory and tactile things, not only the visual and auditory things. Or they will be able to even deliver the actual objects! But if so, more kinds of crimes and disadvantages would be appeared. It seems it would be better not to develop anymore. The actual alternative such development of internet security and Information Superhighway will be more necessary than that.
