Students complete a form that gets reviewed by faculty. Students must see a counselor to have an ed plan completed. The form is then submitted to our admissions office for approval

Concerns that some of our faculty/disciplines would have significant reservations. There are likely some areas that will want a second look to confirm alignment in SLOs, programmatic accreditation requirements, and address concerns of transferability/impact on program-specific articulation agreements.

We only have 3 counselors for our whole college. We take this on per student. Small colleges may have more difficulty with streamlining the process due to limitations.

CPL needs to be addressed and clearly communicated at all levels of the college. Support and advocacy from our administration is also key. All colleagues across the college should be able to speak to it with and for students and lead them to clear next steps in the process.
